‘Kindling the Kindness’

‘Kindling the Kindness’ is the new humanitarian project promoted by poiesisonline.com and its international community of poets/writers supported by xpresspublications.com, Rabindranath Tagore Award International community, Bharat Award for Literature community and any other groups/public/organization willing to join us to promote this concept from time to time. This humble

project is promoted to help restore the world destructed by natural calamities, any of such severe kind of outbreaks that requires financial assistance to help rebuild the social infrastructure and life back to its favorable conditions. Apart from sharing a contribution we receive through our poetic ventures and donations received, this is also a public initiative to promote the culture of charity and kindness in general. Depending upon the nature of calamities that may happen, we will initiate short online campaigns to collect money for promoted projects and this will be distributed through our members in the form of money or materials as per the need and practicality. As we grow the project and its scope will be more organized, amended and extended to enlarge and emerge as a great association of kind people from all over the world. This will be a pure non-profit organization supported by its kind voluntary members. So if you have an interest to do some charity, volunteer for this, you may join us as a lifetime missionary of kindness. We look forward for your support, suggestions and co-operation for this project of kindness. for kindling the kindness,

Kindling the Kindness

Dear Mates,

Greetings

Many of you might know that we have started a project that was titled “Kindling the Kindness” in the year 2016 with our few poet friends to help the seriously ‘Flood Hit Chennai’. We have collected contributions from our fellow poets and gifted a digital projector to a Chennai based school at nandambakkam region. The ‘Chandrika School’.

In the year 2016, we visited the school and organized an event to initiate the spark of kindness within the children in a symbolic way. February 27th is marked as a ‘kindness day ‘by our group, where every year some event will be organized by the school to continue this positive culture of kindness. Students shared gifts mutually and performed various events on the topic kindness.

Since then, this school and its management have continued to do this event every year and shared the pictures with us. Promptly, this year also they have done this. It was now ten years and we felt our mission was successfully going in a silent and an effective way under the greatest and the splendid title called “Kindness”

We have also gifted a Web Television to a school at Majuli, islands of Assam and we have lost touch with them with the management changes and all. We hope to reach them and try to find out how things are going there and shall update on this.

We are happy to share the videos and a few pictures along with the certificate of merit we have issued to the Chandrika School and its management for taking up and spreading the mission of kindness year after year without fail.
