Christmas special Gospel meeting @ Kolar
‘ Jesus is the reason for the Season’
Christmas is more than lights, gifts, celebrations, or traditions. At the very heart of this season stands a person—Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.
He is the reason we celebrate. He is the reason we have hope.
⸻
1. The Birth That Changed Everything
More than 2,000 years ago, in a small town called Bethlehem, heaven touched earth.
A child was born—but not an ordinary child.
Jesus, the Son of God, came into the world to bring light into darkness.
Bible Verse:
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” — Luke 2:11
Christmas reminds us that God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son.
⸻
2. The True Gift of Christmas
Gifts may remind us of the wise men who brought treasures to Jesus, but the greatest gift is what God gave us—salvation.
Bible Verse:
“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” — 2 Corinthians 9:15
Jesus didn’t come to give us a festival; He came to give us eternal life, peace, healing, and restoration.
⸻
3. Light in the Darkness
Jesus entered a world filled with sin, fear, and hopelessness—and became the Light of the World.
Bible Verse:
“The light has come into the world…” — John 3:19
Where Jesus enters, darkness leaves.
Where Jesus enters, joy replaces sorrow.
⸻
4. Peace That the World Cannot Give
During Christmas many feel stressed, lonely, or empty. But Jesus offers a peace that no world celebration can produce.
Bible Verse:
“My peace I give unto you…” — John 14:27
When we welcome Jesus into our hearts, Christmas becomes more than a holiday—it becomes an experience of God’s presence.
⸻
5. Christmas Is About Relationship, Not Ritual
Jesus came not to create a religion but to restore a relationship with God.
He came so that you can know God personally, experience His love, and walk with Him daily.
Bible Verse:
“Emmanuel—God with us.” — Matthew 1:23
Christmas means God is with you, God is for you, and God will never leave you.
⸻
6. A Call to Receive Him
As we celebrate this season, let’s not leave Jesus outside the door.
The most meaningful response to Christmas is to receive Him into your heart.
Bible Verse:
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock…” — Revelation 3:20
When you open your heart to Jesus, your life becomes filled with His purpose, His joy, and His peace.
