John 5: 24-30 ( Devotion)

To have eternal life, we must listen to the words of Jesus and believe in Him. We must also believe that the Father sent Him.

Whoever believes this way will not come into judgment. They have already crossed over — from death into life.

To do good is to believe in Jesus. And those who believe in Him will rise to life.
To do evil is to reject Him. And those who reject Him will rise to condemnation.

Just as Jesus only speaks what He hears from the Father, and only does what He sees the Father doing and He can do nothing on His own, may that be our relationship with the Lord too.

Listening. Obeying. Abiding. Not striving to fix, but surrendering to follow.
