"For God is Spirit, so those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23-24). Jesus states that “true worshipers worship God in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23-24). Thus only the spiritual man who lives by the Spirit knows how to wors
hip God according to God’s spiritual requirement. Jesus also states that the Spirit alone gives eternal life, Human effort accomplishes nothing. His words are spirit and life. The Holy Spirit reveals God to us in God’s words (truth). Thus only the spiritual man who discerns and understands the truth in the Word of God know how to worship God according to the plumb line standard of God. Someone may feel unfairly left behind. How can such a rule be set? But Jesus says, God is Spirit. God is the Word (John 1:1). How else do you think you can reach Him or His wave length unless you become like Him? if you believe in God you just have to follow His standard (plumb line). True Worship, help us to grow strong in our loving relationship with God. This means knowing that He is always there to help us along the way. Trust Him! Make God the most important in your life. Make Him the love of your life. True worship is a lifestyle of heartfelt expression of love and devotion and passion for God and His son Jesus. The Son (JESUS) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. [Colossians 1 : 15-20]
So let us worship the Lord our God in Spirit & Truth.
