19 Girl Students Graduate from Madrasa Fatima-tuz-Zahra Shopian; 5 Become Hafiz-e-Quran, 14 Complete Aalima Course
The one-day annual Jashn-e-Niqab Poshi ceremony of the graduating Hafizaat of Madrasa Fatima-tuz-Zahra, Malik Mohalla, Shopian, was held at Madina Enterprises (Turray House), Memander, Shopian.
The event marked a proud moment for the institution as 19 girl students successfully completed their religious education, including five students who became Hafiz-e-Quran and fourteen who completed the Aalima course. A grand religious gathering was organized to honour and encourage the students for their dedication towards Islamic education. Religious scholars, dignitaries, parents, and local residents attended the programme and congratulated the graduating students.
Speaking on the occasion, the incharge of the madrasa, Dr. Arshad-ul-Qadri, said that along with modern education, religious education also plays a vital role in shaping moral values and mental discipline. He appreciated the efforts of the students, teachers, and parents in achieving this milestone.
The students expressed gratitude to the madrasa administration, teachers, supporters, and their parents for encouraging them to complete Hifz-ul-Quran and the Aalima course. They said that religious education is equally important alongside worldly education for guiding individuals towards good character and values.
Referring to the “Drug-Free Jammu & Kashmir” campaign, Dr. Arshad-ul-Qadri said that Islam teaches people to stay away from intoxicants and harmful substances, and appealed for collective efforts to make society drug-free.
