Rosh HaShannah is coming! What is it? So much to unpack but it’s one of the Biblical feasts of the LORD. Part of our rich spiritual heritage as believers grafted into the root of Israel. (Romans 11). We aren’t entitled to this celebration we are invited as guests!

Rosh Hashanah is biblically known as Yom Teruah (the Feast or Day of Trumpets/Shofar Blowing), with its foundational commandment found in Leviticus 23:24-25. Also the beginning of the civil Hebrew New Year of 5787. Themes are based on the Hebrew letters for the year.

So, have a happy and blessed New Year friends! Shanah Tova!

This man was tortured by the Syrian regime and was in agony and despair until he experienced a vision of Jesus.

A missionary reports that a recent gathering of Mideast Christian broadcasters revealed there are now more than 5 million converts to Christianity in Iran... and many more have been turning to Jesus this year.

"Every time there's a war, there's a great movement toward Christ," Georges Houssney said. "People become disillusioned with the world and with religion that causes war. Khamenei in Iran and Bin Laden – those two made a huge difference for the gospel because they gave false hope. ... And so they are flocking into the Kingdom through Jesus Christ."

He has also observed that many who leave Islam for Christianity encounter Jesus through dreams or visions...
