1) Prophet(ﷺ) said: Con

vey (knowledge) from me even if it is just one ayah.
-[Bukhari 3461]

2) Rasool Allah (ﷺ) said : “The action of man stops when he dies except three things: continuous charity, knowledge (that he shares/teaches) or a pious child who prays for him.” [Muslim: 4223]

3) The Prophet (ﷺ) said to ‘Ali (May Allah be pleased with him), “By Allah, if a single person is guided by Allah through you, it will be better for you than a whole lot of red camels.”
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

4) Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “He who calls others to follow the Right Guidance will have a reward equal to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account.”
[Muslim].

When you pay zakat (alms), you have done your duty, as is obligatory. But a person who amasses unlawful wealth and then makes gifts to the poor from it will have no spiritual reward for so doing. On the contrary, he will carry the burden of it with him into the next world.
