This morning we bade a sad farewell to Fr James as he celebrated his final Mass here in Castledockrell. He was presented with gifts as below, by Lily Doyle on behalf of the Eucharistic Adoration Group, by Mary Whelan for the Prayer Group and by Patrick Jordan on behalf of the whole Castledockrell parish and community. Thanks must go to all who contributed and made it a wonderful occasion, including our choir and special thanks for the refreshments afterwards in the hall. Fr James goes with our thanks, our good wishes and our prayers for his future ministry 🙏

This Wednesday 28th August marks the reopening of Castledockrell National School
We send very best wishes for a successful year ahead to the students, teachers, staff and families 🙏

FAREWELL TO FR JAMES
This Sunday 23rd August, Fr James will celebrate his final Sunday Mass with us before taking up his new ministry in Ferns.

To mark the occasion there will be a small presentation to Fr James after mass and refreshments in the church hall providing an opportunity for parishioners to say thank you to Fr James and to wish him well for his new ministry

Enniscorthy Pastoral Area Pilgrimage to
Our Lady’s Island
Tues 25th August, Starting with Rosary at 2pm
around the Island and Mass at 3pm in
the Church

Everyone is welcome, invited and
encouraged to attend. You can drive
yourself and bring a friend/s. The bus
will leave at 1.00pm sharp from the
Presentation Centre. Please book your
seat in advance by contacting the Parish Office 053 9235777 - Fare €10 each payable in advance to secure your seat.
Tea/Coffee facilities are also available at the centre if you wish.
We look forward to seeing you there.
