FEAST OF OUR LADY OF SORROWS — SEPTEMBER 15

Mary stood beneath the Cross and watched the Son she loved suffer and die. Yet she did not turn away. She remained faithful when her heart was broken.

The Seven Sorrows of Mary remind us that even in our deepest pain, we are never alone. Mary understands the tears of a grieving heart, the fear of uncertainty, and the pain of watching someone we love suffer.

Today, let us place our own sorrows into her loving hands.

🙏 Our Lady of Sorrows, Mother of Mercy,
stand beside us in our suffering.
Hold us when our hearts are broken.
Comfort those who grieve, strengthen those who are struggling,
and bring hope to those who feel lost.
Teach us to remain faithful to Jesus,
even when the road is painful and we cannot understand His plan.
Lead us always closer to your Son
and pray for us now and at the hour of our death.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.
Jesus, we trust in You.

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
The Cross reminds us that suffering is not the end. Through His sacrifice, Jesus showed us the deepest meaning of love, forgiveness, and humility. Sometimes, we carry pain, anger, and disappointments in our hearts. The Cross invites us to surrender these burdens to God, forgive those who have hurt us, and trust that He can bring hope out of our struggles.

May we learn to carry our own crosses with faith, knowing that God walks with us every step of the way. The Cross is not a symbol of defeat, but a sign of love, hope, and salvation. The cross isn’t a source of punishment, it is our path to purity, it is our path to purification, it is our path to Holiness, it is our path to sanctification, it is the path that teaches us Gods divine Love, mercy & wisdom & it is the ultimate symbol of Jesus’s love for us & it is the greatest weapon to destroy Satan.

Feast of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of St. Mother Teresa — a woman who saw Christ in every person, especially in the poor, the suffering, the forgotten, and those in need of love.

Her life reminds us that we don’t need to do great things to make a difference. We can begin with the little things: a kind word, a helping hand, a listening heart, and a love that expects nothing in return.

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

🙏 St. Mother Teresa, pray for us.
May we have the courage to serve with humility, love without conditions, and bring a little more light into the lives of those around us.
Happy Feast Day!
