സ്ലൈഗോ സെന്റ് തോമസ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ചർച്ചിന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ വി. ഗീവർഗ്ഗീസ് സഹദായുടെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെരുന്നാൾ മെയ് 17 ഞായറാഴ്ച ഭക്തിപൂർവ്വം ആഘോഷിച്ചു. ബാലിസഡെയർ കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി സെന്ററിൽ (Ballysadare Community Centre) വെച്ചാണ് പെരുന്നാൾ ചടങ്ങുകൾ നടന്നത്.
രാവിലെ 9:30 ന് ആരംഭിച്ച പ്രഭാത നമസ്കാരത്തോടെയാണ് പെരുന്നാൾ ശുശ്രൂഷകൾക്ക് തുടക്കമായത്. തുടർന്ന് ഭക്തിനിർഭരമായ അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിൽ വിശുദ്ധ കുർബാനയും പ്രത്യേക മധ്യസ്ഥ പ്രാർത്ഥനകളും നടന്നു. നിരവധി വിശ്വാസികളാണ് പെരുന്നാൾ ചടങ്ങുകളിൽ പങ്കുചേരാനും വിശുദ്ധന്റെ മധ്യസ്ഥത തേടാനുമായി എത്തിയത്.
ശുശ്രൂഷകൾക്ക് ശേഷം പെരുന്നാളിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി നേർച്ച വിളമ്പും ക്രമീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു. ചടങ്ങുകൾ വിജയകരമായി പൂർത്തിയാക്കാൻ സഹകരിച്ച എല്ലാ ഇടവകാംഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഭാരവാഹികൾക്കും ചർച്ച് കമ്മിറ്റി നന്ദി അറിയിച്ചു. സ്ലൈഗോയിലെയും പരിസരപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെയും ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് വിശ്വാസികൾക്ക് ആത്മീയമായ ഒരു ഒത്തുചേരലിന്റെ വേദിയായി ഈ വർഷത്തെ പെരുന്നാൾ മാറി

The St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church celebrated the Feast of St. George today, 17 May 2026, with a blessed gathering at the Ballisodare Community Centre. The solemn Holy Qurbana and Benediction were led by the Vicar, Fr. Ninan P. Kuriakose, drawing numerous devotees to prayer. The spiritual celebration featured the traditional sharing of Nercha and marked a joyful milestone as the parish warmly welcomed several new members into their growing church community.

അയർലണ്ടിലെ സ്ലൈഗോ സെന്റ് തോമസ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ചർച്ചിന്റെ (യുകെ-യൂറോപ്പ്-ആഫ്രിക്ക ഭദ്രാസനം) ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ വിശുദ്ധ ഗീവർഗീസ് സഹദായുടെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെരുന്നാൾ ഭക്ത്യാദരപൂർവ്വം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. 2026 മെയ് 17 ഞായറാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 9:30 മുതൽ ബാലിസോഡെയർ കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി സെന്ററിലാണ് പെരുന്നാൾ ചടങ്ങുകൾ നടക്കുന്നത്.

ഫാ. നൈനാൻ പി. കുര്യാക്കോസ് പെരുന്നാൾ ചടങ്ങുകൾക്ക് മുഖ്യകാർമ്മികത്വം വഹിക്കും. പ്രഭാത പ്രാർത്ഥനയോടെ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ചടങ്ങുകളിൽ വിശുദ്ധ കുർബാന, ആശീർവാദം (Benediction) , നേർച്ച എന്നിവ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും

The St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church conducted the Holy Qurbana on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at St. John’s Hospital Chapel.

The service, led by Fr. Ninan P. Kuriakose, was attended by members of the community and marked by prayer and devotion. The gathering reflected unity and strong faith among the faithful in the region.

മരണത്തെയും പാപത്തെയും ജയിച്ച് ക്രിസ്തുനാഥൻ മഹത്വത്തോടെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റ സന്തോഷകരമായ ദിനം! ഇരുളിനുമേൽ വെളിച്ചവും, മരണത്തിന്മേൽ നിത്യജീവനും വിജയം നേടിയതിന്റെ പ്രഘോഷണമാണ് ഓരോ ഈസ്റ്ററും. നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ തകർച്ചകളിൽ നിന്നും നിരാശകളിൽ നിന്നും പ്രത്യാശയുടെ പുതിയ പുലരിയിലേക്ക് ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കാൻ ഈ പെരുന്നാൾ നമുക്ക് പ്രചോദനമാകട്ടെ. സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെയും സമാധാനത്തിന്റെയും ഈ വലിയ പെരുന്നാൾ ഏവർക്കും അനുഗ്രഹീതമാകട്ടെ എന്ന് ആശംസിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാവർക്കും ഉയിർപ്പ് പെരുന്നാൾ മംഗളങ്ങൾ! 🌸🕊️
