📖 St. Peter’s Church Centenary Book

As part of our Centenary Celebrations, we are delighted to announce a special presentation by Pat Mulligan, former principal and local historian, on the new illustrated history of St. Peter’s Church, Dromiskin.

📅 Sunday, 27th September 2026
🕒 3:00pm
📍 St. Peter’s School Hall, Dromiskin

Pat will share the story behind this wonderful new illustrated history of our church, celebrating its rich heritage and the generations of parishioners who have been part of its story over the past 100 years.

☕ Refreshments will follow the presentation, and copies of the book will be available to purchase on the day at a special reduced price.

All proceeds will go towards the St. Peter’s Church Centenary Fund.

This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a parish and community — to celebrate the story of St. Peter’s, remember the generations who have gone before us, and help support the future of our beautiful church.

We would love to see a great turnout for what promises to be a very special afternoon in this historic Centenary Year.

We are delighted to invite you to join us as we celebrate 100 years of St. Peter’s Church, Dromiskin with a very special Centenary Mass.

📅 Sunday, 4th October 2026
⛪ Centenary Mass — 3:00pm
🙏 Celebrant: Most Rev Eamon Martin, DD, Archbishop of Armagh

Following Mass, there will be a Meal at 5:00pm in Joe’s Club Rooms.

🎟️ Tickets: €20 per person

Tickets will go on sale from next weekend.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our Thanksgiving Meal, celebrating and thanking all those who give so generously of their time and talents across the four parishes of Our Lady Queen of Peace Pastoral Area.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Gerry and Lorraine Quigley - Pastoral Area Chairperson, for organising the day and for all their hard work in bringing everyone together.

We are also very grateful to Watters Wholesale for generously providing the food, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all!

It was wonderful to see so many people gathered together, enjoying the afternoon, catching up with one another and sharing in such a warm community spirit.

Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make the day such a success and, most importantly, thank you to all our volunteers for everything you do throughout the year.

We hope you all had a wonderful day! 🙏❤️

We’re looking for someone who would be interested in helping with our social media and communications.

This could be perfect for:
✨ Someone who enjoys social media and creating content
✨ Someone who has a spare hour each week and would like to volunteer
✨ A student studying Social Media, Marketing, Communications or a related course who would like to gain practical experience for their CV
✨ Someone who would like to develop their skills while supporting our parish community
