For 24 hours, the world will be united in prayer during the Worldpriest Global Rosary Relay for the Sanctification of Priests.
On Friday at 12:30 PM, Radio Maria Ireland will join this powerful global initiative by praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary, in spiritual solidarity with our brothers and sisters around the world.

At the conclusion of the Rosary, we will offer Pope Benedict XVI’s Prayer for Priests, entrusting all priests to the loving care of Our Lord and the intercession of Our Lady.

Lord Jesus Christ, eternal High Priest,
You offered yourself to the Father on the altar of the Cross
and through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit
gave Your priestly people a share in Your redeeming sacrifice.

Hear our prayer for the sanctification of our priests.
Grant that all who are ordained to the ministerial priesthood
may be ever more conformed to You, the Divine Master.
May they preach the Gospel with pure heart and clear conscience.

Let them be shepherds according to Your own Heart,
single-minded in service to You and to the Church
and shining examples of a holy, simple and joyful life.

Through the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Your Mother and ours,
draw all priests and the flocks entrusted to their care
to the fullness of eternal life where you live and reign
with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

The story of the Sixteen Carmelites of Compiègne: Martyrs for peace
A new book on the martyrs will soon be made available at the Carmelite Book Service Oxford. This book was written by Sr.Therese Marie of the Carmelite Monastery Kilmacud.
The Compiègne Martyrs were sixteen French Carmelite nuns who died at the guillotine on 17 July 1794 after offering their lives for the Church and their country. Ten days after their death, the Reign of Terror ended. They were canonised by Pope Francis on 18 December 2024.
This beautiful and deeply moving book tells the story of these remarkable Martyrs for Peace of the French Revolution. Therese Marie OCD, begins by acquainting us with the times in which the Carmelites of Compiègne lived. We are then introduced to each of the nuns and are taken on a journey from the joyful security of their Carmelite life all the way to their courageous martyrdom at the scaffold.
Sr Therese Marie also explores the unfolding waves of grace the martyrs left behind as she traces the life of Sr Marie of the Incarnation – a Compiègne nun who, after escaping martyrdom, became the historian of the martyrs – and details the retelling of the martyrs’ story in literature and music.
The Story of the Sixteen Carmelites of Compiègne: Martyrs for Peace challenges us to contemplate what living in allegiance to Jesus Christ means for us in our own times and inspires us to be agents of peace for those around us – and beyond.

🙏 🌹 Let us pray for all students undergoing examinations:

St. Thérèse, pour out your Spirit of Wisdom on these students:
help them to remain calm,
to attend carefully to the questions asked,
to think clearly, to remember accurately,
and to express themselves well.

Grant that they may reflect on the best of the work they have done
and the best of the teaching they have received.
Accept their best efforts in these examinations and in the great test of life on earth.
May your love be upon them,
as they place all their trust in you.

We ask this through the Intercession of St.Thérèse 🙏 🌹

AMEN
