Our late Dad Pat Sweeney RIP was the National St Thérèse Relics Manager in Ireland. He travelled all over Ireland with these Relics helping to spread the message of St Therese's 'little way' He was also one of the organisers of the historical 2001 visit of the Relics of St Thérèse from Lisieux in France and drove the Relics all over Ireland. He did this again in 2009 & 2018. He devoted his life to St Thérèse and her family - The Martin Family. We have continued to carry out some of Dads work in bringing the Reliquary around Ireland. We hope that the Relics can bring people Hope, Strength and Comfort in their daily lives and in times of need. The Sweeney Family Kildare

💛 A LITTLE LIGHT OF HOPE ✨

On World Su***de Prevention Day, we remember with love those we have lost and hold all who grieve in our hearts and prayers. 🕯️

To anyone struggling today: you are loved, you matter, and you are not alone.❤️

🌹 St Thérèse the Little Flower, taught us that even the smallest acts of love and kindness can make a difference. May her Little Way inspire us to reach out, listen without judgement and be a gentle light for someone walking through darkness.

🙏 St Thérèse, comfort those who grieve and pray for all who are struggling.

🌹 A SHOWER OF ROSES FOR THE LITTLE FLOWER 🌹

“Knit or Crochet a Rose”

We are delighted to launch a very special community charity initiative, in partnership with The Little Way Cancer Centre, Clane, Co. Kildare, as part of Hearts & Crafts for Hospitalised Children & Charities.

Inspired by St Thérèse of Lisieux — “The Little Flower”, we are inviting people of all ages to knit or crochet a rose. Each handmade rose will be a small but beautiful symbol of love, hope, kindness and remembrance.

We are also privileged to have the support of Gráinne Burns, The Cavan Rose of Tralee, who shares our love of crochet. 🌹

Our goal is to create a wonderful “Shower of Roses” — hundreds of handmade flowers which will be blessed at a special Mass on 30 September 2026 by Fr Johnson, Carmelite Prior, Kildare, before being gifted to charities, nursing homes and children who are unwell.

🌹 Everyone can take part — knitters, crocheters, beginners, families, schools, community groups and individuals.

Every rose matters. Every rose carries a message. Every rose is an act of kindness. ❤️

We will continue collecting roses throughout November.

📞 To get involved or receive the postal address for sending your roses, please contact 085 888 7549 or message our page.

🌹 Please share and help us create a truly beautiful “Shower of Roses for the Little Flower”! 🌹

✨ Prayer for the Feast of St. Teresa of Calcutta

Loving God,
on this Feast of St. Teresa of Calcutta, we thank You for the beautiful witness of her life.

Help us, like Mother Teresa,
to see Your presence in every person we meet, to serve with a generous heart, and to bring love, hope and kindness to those who need it most.

We remember especially her deep affection for St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the “Little Flower,”
whose little way of love and trust inspired her so greatly.

Through the intercession of St. Teresa of Calcutta and St. Thérèse of Lisieux,
teach us to do small things with great love, to trust You as little children, and to offer each day as a gift of love to You.

May we never underestimate
the difference that one small act of kindness can make.

St. Teresa of Calcutta, pray for us.
St. Thérèse of Lisieux, pray for us.
May we, like you, become instruments of God’s love.

Amen.
