Esker Redemptorist Monastery, Retreat Centre, Youth Village is a place of welcome for people who want to find time and space for themselves. We welcome groups and individuals. We offer a variety of retreats and other events (see www.redemptoristsesker.ie for information), as well as beautiful grounds, walks in the woods, and time apart. School groups come here for retreats, for one day or overnight.in the retreat house or in the youth village.

Easter Monday morning , we received news at almost the same time, of two deaths- one of Pope Francis, the other of our beloved Brother Nicholas Healy (94) who died in our local hospital. May they both rest in the peace of Christ. We are in double mourning here in our monastery in Limerick.

News of two deaths came almost at the same time, this Easter Monday morning- Pope Francis, and our own Brother Nicholas Healy (94) who died in our local hospital. ‘Leaba i measc na Naomh’ - a bed among the Saints- be to each of them. We are in double mourning in our community. Both of them lit up our lives.

Kilconieran has again this year agreed to keep the long tradition of blessing St Dominic’s well alive. He will do the blessing this coming Friday 5th and Saturday 6th January 2024 at 11am. The holy water will then be available to everyone. Spread the word.
