We, the parishioners of St Crones Dungloe are saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Reverend Canon Stanley Johnson on Wednesday.

Rev Stanley helped out in our parish covering many of our services who along with his wife Shelia were always such friendly and kind people.

Stanley’s guidance, support as well as his friendship will undoubtedly be missed by all the parishioners here in our church and wider community.

We would like to extend our sincerest condolences to his children Timothy, Melanie and Wendy, their partners, his grandchildren and great grandchildren and the extended family circle and friends.

May Stanley rest in peace.

Go raibh suaimhneas síoraí dá n-anam.

A wonderful evening was had by all tonight as Janet Harbison Harp hosted the last of her brilliant concerts, It is always such a pleasure to have Janet play in our church.

A huge thank you to all of Janet’s students who took part tonight and in all of her concerts, the Meenacross Comhaltas who always give a fantastic performance with their music and also to members of the audience who took part tonight making it a special show.🪉🎶🪗

We are thrilled to have raised €1000 for the Kincasslagh Parish Graveyard fund, where tonight Fr Vincent Finnegan alongside members of the graveyard committee accepted the cheque from members of our church vestry.

A reminder that this Thursday July the 16th Dr Janet Harbison will be hosting the last of her series of concerts in the church at 8pm.

The last two concerts have been an absolute blast with such talented performers such as Meenacross Comhaltas, Dr Janet’s students and herself, and this concert will definitely not disappoint. 🪉🎶

The proceeds from this concert are in aid of the Kincasslagh Parish graveyard development fund.
