HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE UPDATES

1 Corinthians 11:23-25
23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

AMBASSADOR_FOR_CHRIST
By Apostle Faniso Eagle

2 Corinthians 5:15,16,17&20
15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselvesbut for him who died for themand was raised again.
16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldlypoint of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creationhas come:[a]The old has gone, the new is here! 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors,as though God were making his appeal through us.We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

As ambassadors of Christ he must be seen in us
An ambassador is someone who is sent to represent another person, kingdom, or nation.
An ambassador does not go representing himself. He goes representing the one who sent him.
When a chief appoints someone to represent him, people may see the servant standing before them, but the authority behind that servant is the chief. When the representative speaks, he speaks with the authority of the one who appointed him.
That is why if someone dishonours the representative, they are not only dishonouring the servant they are dishonouring the authority behind him.

Even nations work this way. A country sends one person to another nation as its ambassador. One person represents an entire nation.
One person carries the identity, authority and message of a nation.

That is what God has done with us.
Paul says “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ.”
When you became born again, you did not simply receive a new religion you received a new identity.

You became a representative of Christ.
Wherever you go, Christ must be seen.
Whatever you say, Christ must be heard.
Whatever you do, Christ must be represented.

AN AMBASSADOR DOES NOT REPRESENT HIMSELF

The moment you become an ambassador, your decisions cannot be based only on what you want.
An ambassador carries the message of the one who sent him.
That means there must come a point where you stop asking:
“What do I want?”
And begin asking:
“What does Christ want?”
You cannot represent Christ while constantly representing yourself.

This is why Paul says in Galatians 2:20:
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”
You cannot be an effective ambassador while the old you is still sitting on the throne.
There must be a difference between the person you were before salvation and the person you became after salvation.

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17:
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
The old character must go.
The old way of thinking must go.
The old behaviour must go.
The old life must go.

Because we were not saved so that our old character could continue representing us.
We were saved so that Christ could be seen through us.

YOU ARE A LIVING LETTER

Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3:2–3 that we are letters of Christ, known and read by everyone.
This means your life is a letter.
People are reading you.
The way you speak is a letter.
The way you treat people is a letter.
The way you respond when you are offended is a letter.
The way you behave when nobody is watching is a letter.
The way you handle pressure is a letter.
The way you forgive is a letter.
The way you love people is a letter.

There must come a point where reading the Bible is not enough you must become what you have been reading.
You stop only talking about Scripture and start living Scripture.

Our goal is for our lives to become a living Gospel.
You may preach to people with your mouth, but your life must preach to them even when you are silent.
Because some people will never open a Bible, but they will read your life.

CHRIST MUST BE REVEALED IN US

Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3:18 that we are being transformed into the same image of Christ.
That is the goal of salvation:
Christ being formed in us.
What we want people to see in a Christian is not merely your personality, your family character, your culture or your old behaviour.
We want to see Christ.

You must reach a point where people cannot only hear that you are saved they can see that you are saved.
There must be evidence.
There must be transformation.
There must be a difference between the old you and the new you.

Paul even told believers in 1 Corinthians 11:1:
“Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.”
Paul had reached a level where he could tell people to follow his example because his life was pointing them to Christ.
That should be our desire.
Not that people become like us, but that when they look at us, they are directed to Christ.

YOU CANNOT BE AN AMBASSADOR WITHOUT DYING TO SELF

You cannot represent Christ properly if self is still controlling everything.
Jesus said we must deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him.
There must be a death of self.
Your anger must die.
Your pride must die.
Your selfishness must die.
Your old character must die.
Your desire to always have your own way must die.

Because an ambassador cannot say, “I will do whatever I want.”
He has been sent to represent someone else.
That is why Paul says:
“It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”
The greatest evidence that Christ lives in you is that Christ begins to control the way you live.

YOU CARRY THE PRESENCE OF THE ONE WHO SENT YOU

Sometimes people pray, “God, come into our midst.”
But as believers, we must understand that the Holy Spirit already dwells in us.
Jesus said in John 14:16–17 that the Holy Spirit would be with us and would be in us.
We do not need to pretend that God is far away.
We carry His presence.

We are representatives of His Kingdom.
When you walk into a place, you should not bring only yourself you should bring the character and presence of Christ.
Where you are, Christ should be represented.
Where you work, Christ should be represented.
In your family, Christ should be represented.
In your community, Christ should be represented.

WHERE THE AMBASSADOR IS, THE KINGDOM IS REPRESENTED

Look at Jacob.
When Jacob was in Laban's house, Laban recognised that his household was being blessed because of Jacob.
Genesis 30:27 says that Laban acknowledged that the Lord had blessed him because of Jacob.

The presence of someone who carries God's covenant affected the environment around him.
That is what an ambassador should be.
Your presence should make a difference.
You should bring light into darkness.
You should bring peace into confusion.
You should bring hope where there is hopelessness.
You should bring the character of Christ wherever you go.

HEAVEN IS BEHIND YOU

When Elisha's servant saw the enemy surrounding them, he became afraid.
But Elisha said:
“Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
Then God opened the servant's eyes, and he saw the mountain full of horses and chariots of fire.
The servant only saw the enemy.
Elisha saw the army of heaven.

Sometimes your problem is not that heaven is absent.
Your problem is that you cannot see what is with you.
You are looking at the sickness.
You are looking at the opposition.
You are looking at the financial situation.
You are looking at the closed door.
But heaven is looking at you and saying:
“You are not alone.”

STEPHEN SAW HEAVEN STANDING

When Stephen was being persecuted, Acts 7:55–56 says he looked into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.
Stephen was on earth, but heaven was not unaware of what was happening.
When an ambassador is in trouble, the nation behind him is concerned.
And when a child of God is going through a battle, heaven is not unaware.
You may feel alone, but you are not alone.
You may face opposition, but you are not without help.

Peter was once afraid.
He even denied Jesus.
But after receiving the Holy Spirit, Peter became bold.
The same man who was afraid to identify himself with Jesus became a man who stood publicly and preached Christ.
What changed?
The power of the Holy Spirit.

When you become a representative of Christ, you are not expected to operate only in your own strength.
You have the Holy Spirit.
You have the Word.
You have the authority of the One who sent you.
That is why Paul could say:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13

Isaiah was given a heavenly assignment, and he carried a message that people had not yet seen.
He prophesied about the coming Messiah, His birth, His suffering and His death.
Isaiah was speaking about things that had not yet happened because he had received a message from heaven.

An ambassador carries information from the kingdom that sent him.
And as believers, we carry a message:
Jesus Christ is the answer.
We are not here simply to tell people about ourselves.
We are here to tell people about Him.
Paul says that we are ambassadors for Christ and that God is making His appeal through us.
Think about that:
God makes His appeal through us.
That means our lives matter.
Our words matter.
Our behaviour matters.
Our representation matters.

YOU ARE REPRESENTING HEAVEN

When you walk into a situation, remember who you represent.
You do not have to panic like someone who has no help.
You do not have to live like someone who has no hope.
You do not have to be controlled by fear.
You represent Christ.
You are a representative of the Kingdom of God.
You carry the message of heaven.
You carry the presence of the Holy Spirit.
You carry the character of Christ.
Therefore, when darkness sees you, it should encounter light.
When hatred meets you, it should encounter love.
When confusion meets you, it should encounter peace.
When hopelessness meets you, it should encounter hope.
When people meet you, Christ must be seen.

The question is not only:
“Are you saved?”
The question is:
“What are you representing?”
Because you can go to church and still represent yourself.
You can know Scriptures and still live contrary to them.
You can preach Christ and still fail to reveal Christ through your character.
But God is calling us to something deeper.
He is calling us to become living representatives of Jesus Christ.
There must come a point where your life says:
“I am not here to represent myself. I am here to represent Christ.”

Let your life become the Gospel.
Let your character reveal Christ.
Let your words reveal Christ.
Let your decisions reveal Christ.
Let your home reveal Christ.
Let your workplace reveal Christ.
Let everything about you point people back to Jesus.
Because you are an ambassador of Christ.
And wherever the ambassador goes, the One who sent him must be seen.
Christ in you.
Christ through you.
Christ revealed in you.
That is the life of an ambassador.

Ephesians 3:20
20
Now to him who is ableto do immeasurably more than all we askor imagine, according to his powerthat is at work within us

The power works through us not Jesus Christ, not angels, but us. When we speak breakthrough, we speak breakthrough.
Jesus Christ has already given you power. All the power of casting out evil spirits, Jesus has given it to you. When He died and rose again, He gave us this power. As long as you have received Him, you have received His authority.

That is why Peter and John said, “Silver and gold we do not have, but what we have we give you.” Meaning, they already possessed something. What they had was the name of Jesus.
Jesus has another name in heaven because He left His name in you.
The name Jesus means the Anointed One. Now that you have received His name, you are anointed too.

The power that we have received can do exceedingly more than what we can think or imagine.
When you face a problem, don't say, “I must pray for many days.” You must command the situation.
Jesus Christ says you can tell a mountain to move and throw itself into the sea, and it shall be so. He did not say you must pray for the mountain to move; He said command the mountain.

Prayer is made for communication with God.
When you command, you are speaking according to what God has commanded.
As an ambassador, you must always be ready for war. That is why the Apostle Paul speaks about the armour of God in Ephesians 6.

The Bible says, “By His stripes we are healed.” It does not say, “We will be healed.”
Therefore, you need to stand on what Christ has already accomplished and declare that you are healed.
Wherever you are, God is within you.
You don't need a certain place or a certain cloth to have the Spirit of God.
God is not the author of confusion.
The presence of God is not limited to one place. Elijah recognised the presence of God in the gentle whisper.

You are an ambassador of Christ.
Therefore, it is a must to have the character of Christ.
The power you carry must reveal Christ.
The authority you have must reveal Christ.
The way you speak must reveal Christ.
The way you live must reveal Christ.
Because you are not representing yourself.
You are representing Christ.
Wherever you go, Christ must be seen.
You are an ambassador of Christ.

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
LED By Sister Amanda

Acts 1:4
On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command:“Do not leave Jerusalem, but waitfor the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about

Jesus commanded His disciples, “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father.”
I want to encourage you today: wait in Jerusalem.
There is a difference between waiting and waiting in God’s presence. Wait while you pray. Wait while you worship. Wait in the secret place.
Don’t leave the place of His presence because the answer has not come yet. Stay, pray, and believe.
Your waiting is not wasted. In God’s appointed time, the promise will come

Colossians 3:1-3
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God

Apostle Paul says“If you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” The reason behind this message is to understand the importance of focusing on Jesus Christ.

The day you became born again, your life changed. The things of the world that used to excite you should no longer have the same power over you. Jesus said, “You are not of this world.” Because you came from the Father, your desires, your plans, and the things you pursue must come from the Father.

The day you are transformed, you become like Christ. Many people are in the church, but they still love many things of the world. Many people pray, but their eyes are still focused on the things of this world. Apostle Paul tells the Colossians that if we have been raised with Christ, we must seek the things above, where Christ is.

Being raised with Christ means that our old life was buried with Him. Our old nature, which loved the things of the world, was crucified with Christ. When Christ rose again, we were raised with Him. We are now seated with Christ in the heavenly places.

Therefore, the day you rise with Christ, you become a new creation. Your old identity no longer controls you. You are no longer supposed to be known by the things that belonged to your old life. We want to see Christ in you.

Galatians 3:28 tells us that there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, because we are all one in Christ Jesus. Our identity is now found in Christ.

We must put our eyes on the higher places where Christ is. Hebrews 12:2 tells us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. We no longer put our focus on the things of this world. Our focus must be Christ and where He is.

When your focus is on Christ, even when sickness comes, you do not panic. You stand on the Word of God and declare, “By His stripes, we are healed.” You look to the higher places where your help comes from.

David said, “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Our help comes from the Lord, the One who never sleeps nor slumbers, the One who knows everything and is above every situation.
Our focus must be Christ.

Paul also said that when he came to the Corinthians, he did not come with the excellence of human words or worldly wisdom. He came preaching Christ and Him crucified. The message was not about Paul; the message was about Jesus.

Not everyone will take their eyes to where Jesus is. It is those who have been raised with Christ who understand that the goal is Christ.

Even when you choose friendships and relationships, you should not choose simply according to your own desires. You must ask what God wants. Everything that is against Christ must not be entertained. Everything that is against the will of God must be rejected. Everything in your life must support the will of God.

Paul said in Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” This means that everything I do must represent Christ. Everything I say must represent Christ. Everywhere I go, Christ must be seen in me.

Christ is not only someone we read about in the Bible. Christ lives in us. Everywhere we go, we carry His presence.

Paul said, “I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection.” Our old self has died, and we have been raised with Christ.

When people fight against you because you belong to Christ, remember that Christ is with you. Jesus told Saul, “Why are you persecuting Me?” Saul was persecuting the church, but Jesus took it personally because the church belongs to Him.

As long as Christ is in you, there is victory. What you achieve is because of Christ. Where Christ is, there is protection. Where Christ is, there is peace. Where Christ is, there is provision. Where Christ is, there is hope. Where Christ is, chains are broken.

Paul and Silas were in prison, but because Christ was with them, their chains were broken. The presence of God changed their situation.
Where Christ is, there is no darkness because He is the Light. When you come to Christ sick, you encounter the One who heals. When you come to Him crying, you encounter the One who comforts.

Moses spent time in the presence of God, and when he came down from the mountain, the glory of God was upon him. People could see that he had been with God. The way you came into the presence of God is not the way you should leave.

Peter was once afraid, but after encountering Christ and receiving the power of the Holy Spirit, he stood before thousands and preached the Gospel.
When Christ is in you, your life cannot remain ordinary.

The things of Christ cannot always be understood by human reasoning. Elijah crossed the Jordan by striking the waters with his mantle. Jesus fed thousands of people with five loaves and two fish. Jesus walked on water. Jesus calmed storms with His word.

These things were impossible according to human understanding, but they were possible because of the power of God.
Therefore, what God does through your life may also be beyond human understanding.
Even the disciples were amazed when Jesus calmed the storm. They asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey Him!”

When Christ is truly working through your life, people may not understand you. They may not understand your testimony, your breakthrough, your preservation, or the things God is doing through you.
A Christian should not live an ordinary life that looks exactly like the world. We are called to represent Christ.

Jesus said that the world would hate His followers because they are not of the world. Therefore, do not be surprised when everyone does not understand or accept you.
When Christ is in you, He will do things through you that will amaze people.

Miracles may look extraordinary on earth, but heaven operates from a different reality. What looks supernatural to us is normal in the presence and power of God.

Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
The goal is to live the life of heaven on earth—to allow God's will, God's power, God's character, and God's presence to be demonstrated through our lives.

Jesus said that He did what He saw His Father doing. He came from heaven and demonstrated the reality of heaven on earth. People called it miracles because they did not understand the supernatural power behind His life.

Therefore, the goal is not simply to experience miracles. The goal is Christ.
We must reach a level where when people see us, they see Christ. When we speak, Christ must be represented. When we love, Christ must be represented. When we forgive, Christ must be represented. When we serve, Christ must be represented.

Our lives are hidden with Christ.
Colossians 3:3 says, “For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.”
Therefore, seek the things above. Put your eyes on Jesus. Let Christ be your focus. Let Christ be your desire. Let Christ be your identity. Let Christ be the center of your relationships, your decisions, your ministry, your family, and your future.

The goal is Christ. The focus is Christ. The life is Christ. The victory is in Christ.
And when Christ lives in you, the world may see you, but what they must ultimately see is Christ in you—the hope of glory.
