Today we celebrate the feast of St. Teresa of Calcutta.

St. Teresa known as “Mother Teresa” dedicated her life to helping the sick and the poor and founded The Missionaries of Charity Order.

She was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 19th 2003 and canonised by Pope Francis on September 4th 2016.

CHANGES IN MASS TIMES IN HOLY CROSS CHURCH. CHARLEVILLE.
As people are aware the Cloyne Diocesan changes are coming into effect at 12 noon on Saturday September 12th.

On that dav the priests and deacon will be formally involved in the administration and pastoral care of the parish of Newtownshandrum and Dromina.
Both parishes will lose a Mass in the new situation. The following are the main changes:
Sunday Mass Times:
Charleville: Vigil Mass 6p.m. (Saturday) Dromina: Vigil Mass 7.30p.m. (Saturday) Newtownshandrum: 9.30 a.m. (Sunday) Charleville: 11a.m. and 7p.m. (Sunday) Charleville: Weekday Masses (Mon to Sat.) continue at 10a.m. No 10a.m. on Sunday

Other decisions: include: Set up a Funeral Ministry Team to be available to recite the Rosary and lead prayers in the Funeral Home or elsewhere when required. Expand the Baptism Team to both Parishes. Baptisms in Charleville Parish on the 1st and 3ro Saturday of Month. Baptisms to be shared if required on the day chosen. Anniversaries Masses to be shared up to three names.
No Funerals Masses on Sundays.
We ask people in both parishes for your understanding as we journey into the new Pastoral arrangements in both parishes.
