Revival Fellowship Ireland: located in North Kerry and are part of the TRF International, which is a well established worldwide Bible-based Christian fellowship. What We Believe:

The Bible is the true and inspired Word of God:
John 12:48-50, 2 Timothy 3:16

That Jesus Christ is the Son of God:
Isaiah 9:6-7, Matthew 3:16-17, Mark 1:1

In His miraculous birth, His life, His death and resurrection

, and the need to repent, be baptised and receive the Holy Spirit:
Matthew 1:18-25, Mark 16:15-20, Acts 2:31-33

That we are baptised into the Body of Christ (the Church) through the Holy Spirit, with the Bible evidence of speaking in tongues:
Mark 16:16-17, Acts 2:32-33 & 37-40, Acts 19:1-6, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:13

In the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Church:
1 Corinthians 12:13, 14

In prayer for the sick and healing by the power of God
Isaiah 53:5, Mark 16:15 & 18-20, James 5:14-16

The historical fulfilment of prophecy confirms God's plan and purpose for the Church, nations and individuals:
Genesis 12:1-3, 2 Samuel 7:10-13, Romans 11:25-32, 2 Peter 1:19-21

On Sunday we heard about the Trumpet of the Lord; sounding the trumpet (bringing the gospel out), but also to be ready when that 'final' trumpet goes. Make sure you're on God's team when it's blown!

Today Pr Anthony looks at the concept of 'imputed righteousness' as outlined in Romans 4. He uses the analogy of a Bank Account: Imagine you are deeply in debt (for millions), there's no way possible to clear it. Then a wealthy Benefactor (Jesus) who has no obligation to you, transfers his entire fortune into your account!. Your debt is instantly wiped clear! When the bank looks at your account, they don't see your bankruptcy anymore - they see His riches credited into your name - that's "imputed righteousness". Righteousness has been added to our account, like a credit desposited into your bank account, ie. Christ's perfect righteousness is credited into our accounts. God looks at believers and doesn't see our failed ledger but Christs flawless one. Crucially the transfer took place, the moment when you trusted the Benefactor (Jesus) demonstrated by an act of faith ie. being born again (water baptism and being filled with the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues). Wow!!! How merciful is our God!

Yesterday’s talk centred on the solemn warning: “Remember Lot’s wife.” From the outside, Lot’s family had been delivered from S***m, yet her heart was still tied to it. While The Second Epistle of Peter describes “just Lot” as a righteous man whose soul was “vexed” daily by the unlawful deeds around him, hearing and seeing them continually, Lot’s wife appears to have retained an affection for the life she was leaving behind.
Her backward look was more than curiosity — it revealed longing, regret, and attachment to a world under judgment. In contrast to “just Lot,” she remains unnamed, as a warning example.

The lesson for believers today is clear: we must not become attached to this present world or our former way of life. Even while living among ungodliness, we are called to remain spiritually separate in heart and mind.

As Scripture teaches, godliness with contentment is great gain. Looking back wistfully at the old life can slowly weaken spiritual devotion and draw the heart away from God.
