We had a wonderful service of morning prayer this morning when we joined together to think about sowing and nurturing seeds and the outcome of that for the world!
We were helped by people from all over the world who sent us flowers! Well pictures of flowers! Flowers in gardens and window boxes and pots, paper flowers, Lego flowers, flowers that were drawn painted or coloured. They were all wonderful and added to our worship in a very meaningful and creative way - so thank you.
If you go to the fahanandbuncranachurchofireland page you can see all the pictures!

Good afternoon everyone
It was great to worship with so many of you this morning and I see that a lot more people have joined us since - on the playback option.
This morning we had so much help from our families and friends as people from all over sent in their hands! Some were beautifully painted or coloured or decorated with glitter. Some were photographs of hands and others showed that at the most simple - God holds us in the palm of his hand to support us and care for us and lighten our load! And that is what we should do with others so that their heavy burdens can become lighter.
The wonderful pictures can be seen on the
fahanandbuncranachurchofireland Facebook site
Thank you to Jane and Riley, Vicky and Ariah, Joy and Dylan and Jake, Ryan and Anna and their mummy and daddy, Brendan, Roberta, Shauna and Izzie, Johnathan and Jonny. Asha and Maddie, Leon and Christopher, Jayne, Nigel, William, Naomi and Louisa and Ursula.
As someone commented to me after the service - you are a great HANDY lot!!!!
We are all different as our hands show us and we all have different gifts and talents that we pray that we can use to help others!
Thank you - God bless

Good afternoon!
This week the select vestries of Christ Church Buncrana and St Mura's Fahan met to discuss the reopening of the church buildings for worship. It was their decision that the buildings would not open again until September.
So we will continue meeting online on the fahanandbuncranachurchofireland Faceboook site for worship on a Sunday and a Wednesday. The family service on Friday mornings will not take place this week as the Diocese is running a Holiday Bible Club - however please keep an eye out on our Facebook sites for further updates!

Tomorrow (Sunday 5 July) at 11am we will again worship God together in a service of Holy Communion (Holy Communion 2 in the Church of Ireland Book of Common Prayer - see link below)
The readings appointed for the service are
Romans 7:15-25a.
Matthew 11:16-19. 25-end
Psalm 145 v 8-14
We will be thinking about hands!
And the music will include the hymn "Thy hand O God ha guided thy flock from age to age" and "He's got the whole world in his hands".

We will be helped in our worship with hands that have been crafted by our Friday morning congregation and others!
