What a wonderful day we had yesterday at our annual Fête! The event was a tremendous success, and we were blessed with fantastic weather throughout the day.

We began with a very special tribute to our beloved former parishioner, Janet Halligan, who sadly passed away recently. In her memory, a beautiful maple tree was planted by Margaret Dunne, a dear friend of Janet’s and the mother of Nigel Dunne, a former rector of the parish. It was a touching and fitting way to honour Janet’s lasting connection to our community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along to support the fête. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit made the day such a memorable occasion. The support shown by the people of Manor Kilbride was truly remarkable and once again demonstrated what an incredible community we are fortunate to be part of.

Thank you all for helping to make the day so special.

📣 Reminder – Children & Youth Worship 📣

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that our Children and Youth Worship service takes place tomorrow, Friday 22nd May, at 6.15pm in St Mary’s.

As tomorrow is our last worship gathering before the school holidays, we’re making it extra special with a walk in and around the town of Blessington. We will have two walks — including a shorter route for our younger children — with both followed by pizza 🍕

We are also encouraging children to bring a few euros to donate to Christian Aid in support of those in need throughout the world.

Everyone is very welcome, and we’re looking forward to seeing you there!
