The four churches are St Mary’s Blessington, St.John’s Cloughleagh, St.John the Evangelist Ballymore, and St.Kevin’s Hollywood.

📣 Reminder – Children & Youth Worship 📣

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that our Children and Youth Worship service takes place tomorrow, Friday 22nd May, at 6.15pm in St Mary’s.

As tomorrow is our last worship gathering before the school holidays, we’re making it extra special with a walk in and around the town of Blessington. We will have two walks — including a shorter route for our younger children — with both followed by pizza 🍕

We are also encouraging children to bring a few euros to donate to Christian Aid in support of those in need throughout the world.

Everyone is very welcome, and we’re looking forward to seeing you there!

On 10th May, we gathered for our annual Rogation Sunday Service on the beautiful lakeshore at Lacken, held with the kind permission of Mr and Mrs Theo Clarke. Blessed with glorious sunshine and surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the lake, it was a wonderful opportunity for our parish community to come together in worship and thanksgiving for God’s creation. ☀️🌿

This joyful all-age service was made especially special by the enthusiastic participation of children from the parish, whose involvement added greatly to the warmth and sense of community throughout the celebration.

Following the service, everyone stayed to enjoy a picnic together by the lakeshore, sharing fellowship, conversation, and the sunshine in such scenic surroundings.

It was a truly uplifting and memorable afternoon for our parish community. 💙

We are delighted to be taking part in Christian Aid Week this year, running from today, Monday 11th May, to Saturday 16th May.

Throughout the week, St Mary’s Church, Blessington will be open daily from 11am – 2pm serving soup, tea and coffee as we come together to raise awareness and funds for communities around the world who are suffering at this time.
