Today marks the beginning of the annual St. Anthony’s Novena in many of our friaries across Ireland. For the next nine days, we gather in prayer, community, and reflection, turning to the "Saint of the World" with our intentions, hopes, and thanksgivings.
Whether you are looking to find something lost, seeking comfort in a difficult time, or simply want to pause and pray with us, you are so welcome.

• Mass & Novena Prayers: Check your local friary’s timetable for daily service times.
• Spiritual Intentions: If you cannot join us in person, please know that your intentions are carried in the hearts and prayers of the friars daily.

Our Franciscan family was filled with great joy on Sunday as our brother, Ian Cunningham OFM, was ordained to the priesthood at the Franciscan Friary, Ennis by Bishop Fintan Monaghan.

It was a grace-filled celebration, giving thanks for Ian's years of formation, prayer, fraternity, and faithful response to God's call. To witness him offer his life in service to Christ and His Church was a moment of profound gratitude and hope for all of us.

We thank everyone who joined us in prayer and celebration, and we ask you to continue to keep Fr Ian in your prayers as he begins his priestly ministry.

May the Lord bless him with wisdom, humility, joy, and a heart ever conformed to Christ in the spirit of St Francis.

As the day of ordination draws near, we continue to pray for our brother Ian, who will be ordained a priest tomorrow in Ennis.

May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen him in his ministry, and may his life always reflect the mercy, love, and simplicity of Christ in the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi.

It is a moment of great joy for our Franciscan family and for all who have journeyed with him over the years. We invite you to keep him especially in your prayers this week — that he may always be a faithful servant of Christ, close to the poor, and filled with peace and joy.
