SPIRIT AND TRUTH
"For the Father is spirit, and a time will come when they will worship Him in spirit and in truth."
A person won't be able to live his life to the fullest, without knowing his truest origin.
When He was 12 years old, Jesus said to His parents, "Shouldn't I be at my Father's house?"
This is the first great word of Christ that He spoke in The Temple, before His parents on earth,
and
in front of Israel's teachers,
and
before His Father in Heaven.
Then what does He mean?
This means that Christ really knew who He was. Christ truly knows who He is.
At His young age, Christ knew where He had come from.
When a similar incident occurred at night when Nicodemus, a Pharisee, encountered Him, Christ said the same thing,
“The wind blows where it wants, and you hear its sound, but you don't know where it came from or where it went. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit. "
Nicodemus was a Pharisee, teacher of Israel, knew the Torah and Talmud, but had difficulty accepting the testimony of Jesus and had difficulty understanding Jesus' earthly and heavenly things;
for he is not born again, he is not born of the Spirit.
The Torah alone is not enough.
The Torah alone is not sufficient.
The Torah alone is not complete.
And please remember Nicodemus is a Teacher of Israel.
But for a believer to know the full Truth, he must be born of the Spirit.
John the Baptist said,
"He that comes after me, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.";
born again by the Spirit of God and purified by the fire of truth through His Word.
Only a person born of the Holy Spirit will inherit the spirit of God the Father.
Only a person who is born of the Holy Spirit will understand His Truth properly.
and
Only people who are born of the Holy Spirit can be in that special fellowship, becoming one with God, experiencing and manifesting the fruits from that special fellowship into their daily life, as a manner of the true and excellent worship to God the Father in Spirit and Truth.
Worshiping God means having His spirit and abiding in Him.
Worshiping God means knowing His truth and do it.
Worshiping God means being in union with God's spirit and truth.
Amen.
