Please pray for the safety of Pastor Widelson and our friends in Haiti!
In order to gain foreign aide, the Haitian government had to balance its budget, and that means stopping the subsidies on fuel. This resulted in much higher gas prices and widespread unrest in the streets of Haiti. The airlines have stopped flights to Haiti. More details here:

I have heard from Pastor and his son Enelson, and they are all OK, but are basically trapped in their homes. They are very concerned about the big price jump and its impact on the cost of living. Please pray for them.
As violent protests continues in Haiti, major airlines cancel international flights to the country. The civil unrest has been sparked by a sharp hike in fuel prices. At least three people have died as a result of the violence that erupted Friday.
