Future 4 Haiti

Dear Friends and Supporters:
I want to thank you for all that you have done to help the children of Ouanaminthe, Haiti. Following the emergency relief efforts after the earthquake in 2010, together we have supported up to 45 orphans at Sur Le Roche, as well as the primary school for many years.

However, the time has come to cease these efforts. We had been working through Pastor Willio Joseph all of these years. Willio has now relocated to Miami. Without an authority figure continuously at the orphanage we can no longer achieve the accountability we need to be good stewards of our giving.

F4H will stop sending funds to Haiti as of 4/30/19. This does not mean that there is no longer a need; only that F4H no longer has a partner “on the ground” to assure fiscal responsibility. Any funds that are received after 4/30/19 will be returned to the donor.

Thank you for all that you have done for the children of Haiti.

Christmas trip to Sur Le Rocher school and childrens' home.

On Thursday we had a group depart from Pensacola headed to Ouanaminthe to deliver Christmas gifts and supplies provided by New Life Family Church Gulf Coast and Future 4 Haiti donors. Friday morning when the group woke up to depart for Haiti, a weather system had set in over the Caribbean and prevented the flight from occurring. The group then spent the day organizing and packaging the presents into bags and boxes that will be shipped to Haiti via a cargo airline on Monday December 14th. Thank you for all of the prayers and support. The children of Sur Le Rocher orphanage are going to have a great Christmas this year!

Abdias Leonard
Abdias is partially paralyzed and completely blind. He cannot learn in school because of his blindness. Despite this difficulty, he is a great musician. He is a particularly good percussionist.

Djoumaison arrived at SLR in 2015. He was an IBERS placement.

Michel Willina
Michel was born in 1996. He arrived at SLR in 2010 from Port au Prince. After the earthquakes, he could not find his parents. As of the spring of 2015, he was attending trade school in Cap Haitien to learn tilework.
