House of Abraham lost a friend and great supporter. Jim loved and served people unconditionally. He was our “JIMBOLIN”.
Please pray for his family. They have been through a lot these past couple of weeks.

Our Bolin companies and the Casey community experienced a profound loss yesterday. Jim Bolin, Vice President of Bolin Enterprises and the visionary behind Big Things in A Small Town, passed away after sustaining injuries during a snowmobile trip.

Jim was widely known as a man of deep faith, unwavering devotion to his family, and genuine friendship to all who knew him. He lived those values every single day. As his family continues to grieve the recent passing of his father, we ask that you keep them in your prayers for strength, comfort, and peace during this incredibly difficult time.

At Bolin Enterprises, Bolin Autos - Trucks - Tires, Bolin Fuel - Oil - Propane, T-Bilt Customs, and JJET Rental, Sales & Service, our leadership teams remain committed to honoring Jim’s legacy. We will continue his vision and passion that have shaped our companies, supported our 250 employees, and positively influenced the Casey community.

As we enter the week of Christmas and we continue to think of the people we love and the people we want to bless with our love may you remember The House of Abraham. The last six years have been extremely trying and difficult to just be able to find ways to meet their basic needs and to keep the mission in operation.
If you find yourself being blessed and wanting to share.

Can you help? As Fenel mentioned in the last post, HOA incurred some damage from Hurricane Melissa. But, Petit-Goave, a town about an hour and a half away, that received the most damage from the La Digue River bursting due to flash flooding. In that area many homes were destroyed and more than 20 deaths were reported and several other people are still missing. Fenel is planning on gathering supplies; food, toiletries, wood & metal sheeting this week and heading toward Petit-Goave next Friday to share God's love with those in need.

Hi everyone! Thank you very much for your prayers! We are safe. We really appreciate your love and prayers.
The hurricane brought many days of rain and strong wind and caused deadly floods throughout Haiti

At HOA, the roof of the team house suffered some minor damage.

The wind messed up our banana field.

A 100 feet section of the compound security wall got damaged.

3 High school graduates! Tchikovsky, Lucien & Lucianna! They are 20 years years old and ready to move on to adulthood.
Lucien will be attending college to become an IT specialist. He will be living with a relative in Jacmel.
Lucianna will be attending cosmetology school this fall. She will be living with a relative in town, also.
Tchi is already attending a sewing school and he would like to design clothing. He is also interested in welding. He is going to stay at The House of Abraham and help where he can. He is the worship leader for services and does a great job.
Please keep these young adults in your prayers as they search out God's calling for their lives.

The House of Abraham had a celebration last week to show love & honor to Erlande & Vitama. It was definitely a bittersweet day as everyone said their goodbyes and wished them well. Both girls completed High school last spring and took their state exams this summer.
Erlande will be living with a sister in Jacmel and will attend an administrative assistant school. She will attend church at HOA and help with worship. Once her schooling is complete, she will come back to The House of Abraham school to work in the office.
Vitama is going to live with an aunt currently with hopes of living with a sister in Petitionville - but that would require traveling through Port-Au-Prince- and that is still not an option do to the unrest in the capital.
Many of us remember these ladies as young girls (they are currently 20 years old). But time does not stop for crisis and through it all God has protected them and guided them to this time in their lives.
May yours and our prayers go with them as they take on this next chapter of life.

The House of Abraham staff have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of needs of other Haitians coming to their community and Jacmel. People are fleeing Port-a-Prince for safety, due to homes being overtaken, or burnt.
With limited resources, the HOA staff have been helping families that are in need of food, clean water and shelter. With enough resources, Fenel and his team, can get supplies and distribute them as needed.
Please consider helping these lost and starving families.
