Our sponsored children are so ready for this new school year!
They get so excited about getting new and pretty backpacks, notebooks, pens, and many other items they list on their school supplies list!

If you are sponsoring a child, know that your monthly support covers all school expenses, except school security payments. (Parents take the responsibility for this expense.) Also, you must know that your child can always come for more school supplies ( supplies list must be signed by their teachers) . It's not just a one-time give-out.

We pray for each student to find physical, mental, and spiritual rest in God, knowing that God is always by their side, guiding and protecting them, as they'll be facing many challenges. Amen.

Hello hello!
It’s 2026! But we would like to share with you the blessings we have received in 2025.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

- Mt. Carmel church has a new Pastor. They have been working to bring youth to Christ.
- Mt. Zion has been raising money through activities (selling food) to improve maintenance in the Church. They have worked so hard to install ceramic floors.
- Christ is the Rock. Continue praying for a Pastor. Our Pastor Antonio Cruz has been supporting with sharing the Word of God and at the same time taking care of his flock in Christ is the way Church.
- We had a Christmas dinner gathering with some of our Pastors and their families! We had a special time together.
- On Dec.23 we gave out the Christmas gift and dinner to all the kids whose sponsors sent them gifts.

Kitchen Ministry
In 2025, the kitchen ministry applied the blessings received from our brothers and sisters in Christ by replacing aging parts. Now thanks to these blessings the kitchen is looking new, revitalized, fresh and ready to serve the community for years to come. To avoid damaging this new roof and complications by cutting holes for chimneys the first project for 2026 is adding on a little room to cook in. Just seeing these additions has motivated us even more to continue spreading the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to these families who attend this ministry. Glory and honor be to our almighty God in whom we put our faith in to guide us into this new year.

Daycare Ministry

In this past year this ministry had to close. Much like the kitchen, the daycare had parts that were aging. But due to a collapsing section of roof it could no longer remain open. Thanks be to God Mount Carmel Baptist Mission received a sudden and unexpected blessing that has let us replace the old and rotten roof with a new all metal one. To begin 2026 we are happy to report that after a few final touches such as filling the daycare with toys, play mats etc. the daycare will reopen and pick up where it left off.

Sponsorship Program.
Many kids graduated from kindergarten or high school. Our children are getting ready for school this coming February 2026. We are now working on ordering/buying school uniforms and will soon give out school supplies.

The will of God, we have many plans/projects for 2026 with the only mission to honor and serve God. Pray for our mission, missionaries, staff, Pastors, children, and Supporters! We are all here serving the Lord in different ways, sometimes we face hard times but always believe all things work out for good for we LOVE the LORD.

Busy week !
Giving out School supplies, school uniforms.

Thank you sponsors for your love and support to our children. YOU are blessed, THEY are blessed and WE are blessed just to see them having an opportunity for a different and bright future.

Please know sponsors your monthly supports buys their uniforms, school supplies and any other needs for school or health emergency. It doesn’t cover for monthly Food, you would have to send extra and state “Food”. Kitchen ministry runs only on Donations not from your support towards your child.

Kitchen Ministry
“We are still in the process of putting the new roof on the kitchen. Slowly but surely, we are thankful to Pastor Cruz for handling the installation. I have had several little hands helping and some of our pastors ( Pastor Hernan and pastor Salinas ) as well. Once it is done, I'll be so happy to see our children back in the kitchen for their meal.” - Justin

Sponsorship Program

To everyone who sponsors a child know next week your kid will be starting school. We are working on giving them their school uniforms and supplies.

We don’t want to end this update without praising God for allowing us to partner with a store ( Mega Tienda El Castillo) who are willing to help us out by giving school uniform to every kid who’s in the sponsorship program. When before we had to order every item or had a seamstress to make skirts and pants. Partnering with Tienda El Castillo makes things go very smoothly for us and your child.

Padres que tienen a sus hijos apadrinados necesitan saber que estamos trabajando de una manera diferente con la entrega de uniformes.
Al niño se le estará dando un pase en las oficinas de la misión que identifica que está en el programa de apadrinamiento con eso lo entrega en la tienda y ahí mismo puede recoger su uniforme en la tienda el Castillo.

Finally, the day has come to give our children the Gift of Giving this holiday season!

The purpose of the Christmas Giveout is for them to fully experience the JOY of God’s love through their sponsors not only receiving but also giving back a gracious “ Thank you for thinking of me!” It's an effective way to teach them about gratitude and value every little thing God has allowed them to have.

Thank you to all the sponsors who made their children smile and made them feel special. Reminding them GOD is the WAY, the TRUTH, And the LIFE.

Remember Christmas and always is a time of AMAZING GRACE! And a time For GLORIFYING GOD!

Mission Update!
Praise God for His goodness and Mercy. We thank the Lord for guidance, strength, and wisdom for so many things that have happened in the different ministries we have.

Pastoral ministry.

Bread of Life Institute welcomed more Pastors from a different mission ( New Beginning Baptist Mission ) who are aspiring to grow and learn more about God’s word.

* Pastor Efrain and Pastor Salinas along with their churches had a baptism ceremony. Praise Jesus for these new souls!

* Pastor Salinas and the church are growing and working effortlessly in spreading the gospel and also having different selling activities to raise funds for the maintenance of the church.

* Pastor Hernan and his family, had the calling to ministry to a different church that needed a pastor but also taking care of the three flocks he had where he used to preach.

* Pastor Antonio Cruz, has put a lot of sacrifice and love for the Lord by pastoring his church and also taking care of another church meanwhile we are looking and waiting patiently for a pastor.

* Pastor Franklin and his church members are rejoicing for now they have a property and praying to have a church building. Meanwhile, they are working to have a temporary shelter.

Sponsorship Program.
Many of our sponsor kids are on vacation, some have graduated middle school and are ready for high school next year. We are so happy for them, praying and hoping they will always be thankful to God and to their sponsors who are always willing to love and care for them.

Kitchen ministry.
We are blessed and amazed at how God has been providing since the ministry started. 24 years to be exact! God continues blessing each church and everyone who supports this ministry for our children and elders.

Lord willing soon we’ll be working with installing new roofs for the kitchen and daycare building, and reopening the daycare again!

Missionaries update.
Mary Hurd, Karla, and Justin Gribble are always ready on the go for anything each ministry is needed. From fixing broken things to visiting or working with churches along with Pastors.
Also, we are soon to welcome another little member into our missionary family. Please keep them in your prayers.
