I recall a verse from one of our pastor's sermon many years ago: "The blessings of the Lord add no trouble to it." After searching, I found it in Proverbs 10:22. Whenever I come across a verse or a scenario in the Bible, I make it a habit to read the entire chapter.

As I explored Proverbs 10, I began to reflect deeply on the way I live my daily life. Am I a fountain of life, nurturing those around me, or do I sometimes become a source of destruction? Do my words impart wisdom, or do they convey judgment and slander? Am I cultivating love, or fostering hatred?

- **Verse 11**: The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked.
- **Verse 12**: Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.
- **Verse 14**: Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of him who lacks judgment.
- **Verse 17**: He who heeds discipline shows the way of life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
- **Verse 18**: He who conceals his hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool.
- **Verse 19**: When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.
- **Verse 20**: The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is of little value.
- **Verse 21**: The lips of the righteous nourish many, but fools die for lack of judgment.

Then I came across the verse I was seeking:

**Proverbs 10:22**: "The blessings of the Lord bring wealth, and he adds no trouble to it."

It’s remarkable how God moves in mysterious ways, bringing correction and insight. For this, I am grateful! Thank you, Lord, for reminding me of the importance of my words, which can either uplift or break those around me.

Today, I came to the realization that perhaps one reason God allows me to experience hardship is to humble me.

Baka kasi masyado na akong nagtitiwala sa sarili kong kakayahan at nakalimutan na sa Diyos nanggagaling lahat.

Stay grounded. Always recognize God's presence in all things and express gratitude at all times.

Everything comes from the Lord. All things were made because of him and will return to him. Praise the Lord forever! Amen. Romans 11:36 CEV

Today, I realized something important: while I often long for the lives of others, there are people who aspire to live the life I have.

This mindset can lead to dissatisfaction and a diminished appreciation for the many blessings in your life.

Cherish what you have, and strive to create the life you desire. Yet, remember: never compare your journey to that of others.

Above all this,

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

I asked her once more what triggers an aneurysm, and she replied, "Stress."

I responded, "Let go of anyone or anything that brings you stress."

Then I added, "No matter how heavy or light your worries may be, surrender them all to God. So you will be stress free."

I know it's easier said than done, but that's truly the best way to handle it.

As her friend, all I can do is to pray for her.

Today, I received the news that my dear friend has an aneurysm. Knowing her life story and everything she has faced, I felt a deep sadness. When I asked her how she was doing and how she reacted to the news, she simply said, "I prayed."

Despite the unfavorable circumstances, she responded with unwavering faith. She believes that God is with her and will help her overcome this battle.

In times like these, she did what many Christians often overlook when facing battles: she turned to prayer first.

Prayer should always be our first response in any situation.

When we pray, it is God who works in our circumstances.
