In memory of Fr. Seán Ó Cearbhalláin

在世間度過 88 載歲月的嘉理陵神父終其一生奉獻給神學、聖經學與靈修培育，兩度中風卻仍持守著使命，服務人靈。2026 年 9 月 5 日至 9 月 7 日三天裡，愛爾蘭與香港兩地陸續舉行了嘉神父的追思、守靈、殯葬彌撒與土葬禮，大家在禮儀中向這位陪伴守護過許多生命的牧者致上無限敬意。

In Gratitude for the Life and Service of our beloved Fr. Seán Ó Cearballáin, S.J.

It is with deep sadness and hope in the Resurrection that our beloved Fr. Seán Ó Cearbhalláin S.J. entered eternal rest on 23rd August 2026.

Fr. Seán has served as our ecclesiastical assistant with immense devotion and love for 45 years (1978-2024). His spiritual guidance, kindness, and dedication to guiding CLC towards an Autonomous Lay Apostolic World Community have deeply changed our lives. He has attended seven of the World General Assemblies (1979 Rome, 1982 Providence, 1986 Loyola, 1990 Guadalajara, 1994 Hong Kong, 1998 Itaici, and 2003 Nairobi).

We are always grateful for all his formation and guidance over the years. He will be deeply missed by all of us. Let us pray for the soul of our beloved Fr. Seán. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

On 31 July, our members are joyfully gathering for the celebration at St. Ignatius Chapel! It is a beautiful opportunity to reflect, share our ongoing spiritual journeys, and renew our commitment to our shared calling.

On 8th March during the season of Lent, our Integral Ecology working group organized a trip to the Trappist Monastery Our Lady of Joy Abbey 聖母神樂院 in Lantau Island. We had a special prayer experience of the Ecological Way of the Cross 生態苦路 that connects the Passion of Jesus with the suffering of the Earth and the poor. We then joined the Trappist monks at the Chapel for the midday prayer.

Let‘s continue to increase our ecological awareness to care for Mother Earth as our common home. 💕💕🌎🌎
