Proverbs 10:16 NIV
The wages of the righteous is life, but the earnings of the wicked are sin and death.

The Fruit of Righteous Living
The Bible has been reminding us over and over again, beginning from Genesis to Revelation, about the blessing of righteous living.
Proverbs 10:16 reminds us that the direction of our lives is shaped by the choices we make before God. The righteous person does not merely receive temporary rewards; their life produces what is lasting, godly, and pleasing to the Lord. Righteousness leads to life because it flows from walking in wisdom, obedience, and trust in God.
In contrast, the earnings of the wicked may appear profitable for a moment, but Scripture reveals their true result: sin and death. What is gained apart from God cannot give true life. This verse invites us to examine not only what we pursue, but also how we pursue it. Success without righteousness is empty, but a life rooted in God bears eternal fruit.
Question: What am I doing now in my life, and is it leading me closer to God or farther from Him? Am I pursuing righteousness in my work, relationships, decisions, and private life? Today, you can choose the path of life by honoring God in both your motives and actions.
Lord Jesus , teach us to walk in righteousness and to value what brings true life. Guard our heart from pursuing gain that leads me away from You. Help us to seek wisdom, obedience, and integrity in all that we do. May our words, choices, and actions honor You and produce fruit that lasts. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Fruit of Righteous Living

WHAT IS TRUE WORSHIP?





Mark 7:6-8 NIV
He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. [7] They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ [8] You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”

WHAT IS TRUE WORSHIP?
The Lord Jesus reminds us that true worship is not measured by mere words, habits, or religious traditions. Do not be deceived; true worship begins in the heart. Not showing off but living in it. It is possible to honor God outwardly while being far from Him inwardly. In these verses, God calls out these people: “ You honor me with your lips, but your hearts are far from me. How can this be possible? This is what we call lip service – Worship God, but their life, attitude, and character are not showing it. Mark 7:6–8 invites us to examine whether our faith is rooted in love and obedience to God, or merely in routines that make us appear faithful.
The Lord desires a surrendered heart, not lip service. Traditions can help us remember Him, but they must never replace His commands. Today, let us ask God to bring our hearts closer to Him, so our words, actions, and worship may be pleasing in His sight.
Lord God, forgive us for the times we have honoured You with our lips while our hearts were far from You. Remove anything in us that is stopping us from worshipping You from our hearts. Teach us, Lord, to worship You sincerely, to follow Your commands faithfully, and to live each day with a heart that is fully surrendered to You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

DO NOT STOP OBEYING GOD EVEN IF YOUR OWN COMMUNITY DOES NOT SUPPORT YOU




Mark 6:2-6 NIV
When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. “Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing? [3] Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.

[4] Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.”

[5] He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. [6] He was amazed at their lack of faith. Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village.

The Lord Jesus returns to His hometown, and the people are amazed by His wisdom and miracles. Yet instead of receiving Him with faith, they question His background and become offended. They could not see beyond the familiar. Because they knew His family and His business, they failed to recognize His divine authority.
In v4 Jesus said, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.” This reminds us that rejection can sometimes come from the people closest to us. Even Jesus experienced being misunderstood and dishonoured by His own community. Familiarity can blind people to God’s work in someone’s life.
Sometimes, the hardest place to live out our calling is among those who think they already know us. People may remember who we were, where we came from, or what we used to be, and fail to see what God is doing in us now. But rejection should not stop us from doing God’s purpose. Jesus continued teaching from village to village. He did not stop because of the unbelief of those people around Him. Likewise, we must keep obeying God, even when others do not recognize or support the calling He has placed in our lives. AMEN! Sunod lang tayo Kay Lord.
Lord Jesus, thank You for showing us that even You experienced rejection and misunderstanding. Help us not to be discouraged when people fail to see what You are doing in our lives. Strengthen our faith, especially when we feel dishonoured or unsupported. Teach us to keep walking in obedience, with humility and courage. May we always honor Your presence and believe in Your power. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DON’T BE AFRAID JUST BELIEVE




Mark 5:23-24,35-36 NIV
He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” [24] So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him…..
[35] While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?” [36] Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

What God Is Saying?
In this story we see Jairus came to Jesus in desperation, believing that Jesus could heal his dying daughter. While on the way to his home some delays happened – Jesus need to reach the need of the bleeding woman, and a terrible news arrived, His daughter is dead! But Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” This reminds us that faith means trusting Jesus above fear, delay, and what seems impossible.
Fear can speak loudly when life feels uncertain, but Jesus calls us to keep trusting Him. His presence gives hope even when circumstances look hopeless.
Is there any fearful voice do you need to surrender to Jesus today, and where is He asking you to “just believe”?
Lord Jesus, help us to hear Your voice above every voice of fear. When our circumstances feel hopeless, teach us to trust Your presence and Your power. Give us faith to keep walking with You, even when we do not understand Your timing. Today, we choose to believe that You are still working. In Jesus name Amen.

The Wicked Destiny and The Righteous Blessings

Psalm 37:30-40 NIV
The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom, and their tongues speak what is just. [31] The law of their God is in their hearts; their feet do not slip. [32] The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, intent on putting them to death; [33] but the LORD will not leave them in the power of the wicked or let them be condemned when brought to trial. [34] Hope in the Lord and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it. [35] I have seen a wicked and ruthless man flourishing like a luxuriant native tree, [36] but he soon passed away and was no more; though I looked for him, he could not be found. [37] Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace. [38] But all sinners will be destroyed; there will be no future for the wicked. [39] The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. [40] The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

The FAMILY OF GOD😍🙏



Mark 3:31-35 NIV
Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. [32] A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, “Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.” [33] “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked. [34] Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! [35] Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”

What God is saying ?
In this passage we see Jesus mother and brothers are outside looking for Him, the crowd said to Jesus Your mother and brothers is looking for you … but Jesus turns the moment into a deeper spiritual truth: those who do the will of God are His family. He is not rejecting His earthly family; rather, He is expanding our understanding of family beyond bloodlines, background, or social identity.

This is both comforting and challenging. It comforts us because Jesus welcomes all who seek God’s will into close relationship with Him. No one is too distant, too ordinary, or too unworthy to be included in His family of God . At the same time, it challenges us because true belonging to Jesus is shown through obedience. Being near Him and hear His Words is not enough Just like the crowd seated around Him, but also responding with a life surrendered to God.

Today, we are invited to be in the Family Of God by doing the Will of The Father - accepting Jesus Christ into your heart and to sit near Jesus through prayer, Scripture, worship, and obedience. By living His Words

Lord♥️ Jesus, thank You for welcoming us into the family of God. Help us not only to hear Your words, but to live them. Teach us to seek the father’s will with humility, faith, and obedience. May our life reflect that we belong to You In Jesus name Amen.
