「污泥滋養潔蓮，眾志鑄就輝煌」
2025香港荷花展義工報道

蓮華，雖生於泥而不染；荷展，因眾人之力而更香。2025年香港荷花展如期舉行，數千盆荷花與睡蓮也依次盛開，形態各異的蓮荷裝點著寶蓮禪寺，芬芳四溢，淨化心靈。此次以「荷香融萬象，和合耀香江」為主題的盛會，彙集了數百名義工的辛勤勞動。
今年的荷花展規模超越以往，從籌備初期的塘泥搬運、花盆清洗，到種藕的分類、編號定位；從日常的換水施肥、修剪枯葉，到展區的藝術佈置、動線規劃——每個環節都需精心策劃。遇到暴雨時，義工們常冒雨搶救花苗，若天氣晴朗，他們則頂著烈日為荷花澆水，即使衣服濕透也不言放棄。

特別是香港懲教署愛群義工團、香港消防處義工隊、寶蓮禪寺義工隊、珠海學院佛學研究中心校友會等團體，連續多年支援，以實際行動支持生態保育和服務社會的理念。其他各界愛心人士的參與也隨處可見。如今，蓮葉輕擺，花香清新，似乎在講述每一份無私奉獻的價值。這場持續數月、跨越季節的義工接力，最終將荷花的純淨之美呈現給每一位參觀者，也讓「人間蓮境」的禪意，溫暖了香江人的心。
