Don't be heedless about the first ten days!!!

Ibnu Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:

What is surprising is that people are heedless about these ten days. You will find them striving in the last ten nights of Ramadan, but in the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, you will almost not find anyone

who distinguishes them from other days, however,

if a person performs righteous deeds in these ten days, giving life to what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم directed to, then verily, he is on tremendous good."

🌴 Killing children out of fear of poverty is prohibited for two reasons:
1. It is an act of killing, which is a grave sin.
2. It reflects bad thoughts about Allāh, doubting His promise of provision.

Allāh has given a definite promise: that He will provide for parents along with their children, or for children along with their parents.
Therefore, birth control out of fear of poverty is prohibited, as it entails distrust in Allāh and a rejection of His words.

The Prophet ﷺ was asked about ‘azl (withdrawal method of contraception), and he said:
“That is the hidden form of infanticide.”
Scholars have understood this to indicate its undesirability, although it is confirmed that the Companions used to practice ‘azl during the Prophet’s ﷺ time and he did not forbid them.
However, if ‘azl or birth control is done out of fear of poverty, then it is strictly forbidden.

🌿As for ‘azl and other methods of contraception—used before the s***m attaches to the womb—they fall under three legal rulings:
1. Prohibited: If the motive is fear of poverty, for the reasons mentioned earlier.
2. Disliked (Makruh): If done without a valid reason, simply to avoid children without any real need. This goes against the Prophet’s ﷺ encouragement to have many children, as he said:
“Marry women who are loving and fertile, for I will boast of your numbers before the nations on the Day of Judgment.”
3. Permissible: If there is a legitimate reason, such as a woman who conceives immediately after each postpartum period, which physically burdens her and makes raising children difficult; or if she is ill and needs medication; or even for reasons such as wanting time to memorize the Qur’an or pursue religious knowledge—then it is allowed.

As for completely preventing childbirth or permanently cutting off reproduction, this is not permissible.

Also on the authority of `Umar (ra) who said:
While we were one day sitting with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) there appeared before us a man dressed in extremely white clothes and with very black hair. No traces of journeying were visible on him, and none of us knew him. He sat down close by the Prophet (ﷺ) rested his knees against the knees of the Prophet (ﷺ) and placed his palms over his thighs, and said: "O Muhammad! Inform me about Islam." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) replied: "Islam is that you should testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger (ﷺ), that you should perform salah (ritual prayer), pay the zakah, fast during Ramadan, and perform Hajj (pilgrimage) to the House (the Ka`bah at Makkah), if you can find a way to it (or find the means for making the journey to it)." He said: "You have spoken the truth." We were astonished at his thus questioning him (ﷺ) and then telling him that he was right, but he went on to say, "Inform me about Iman (faith)." He (the Prophet) answered, "It is that you believe in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers and in the Last Day, and in fate (qadar), both in its good and in its evil aspects." He said, "You have spoken the truth." Then he (the man) said, "Inform me about Ihsan." He (the Prophet) answered, "It is that you should serve Allah as though you could see Him, for though you cannot see Him yet He sees you." He said, "Inform me about the Hour." He (the Prophet) said, "About that the one questioned knows no more than the questioner." So he said, "Well, inform me about its signs." He said, "They are that the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and that you will see the barefooted ones, the naked, the destitute, the herdsmen of the sheep (competing with each other) in raising lofty buildings." Thereupon the man went off. I waited a while, and then he (the Prophet) said, "O `Umar, do you know who that questioner was?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know better." He said, "That was Jibril. He came to teach you your religion.

Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan - may Allah preserve him - said:

Whoever wants success for himself, and wants his deeds to be accepted, and wants to truly be a Muslim; then he must take care of his beliefs; he must know the correct creed, what contradicts it, what opposes it, and what diminishes it, so that he can build his deeds upon it.

Shyness lies in the eyes. The girl who stares at men and distributes her glances to the passerby will lose something of her beauty. Thus Allāh described the Hoor al-Ayn (maidens of paradise) as: ‘and with them will be women of limited glances, with large, (beautiful) eyes.’ 37:48

📖 [al-Qurtubi (رحمه الله), at-Tadhkirah, pg. 31, Ibraheem al-Sakran (رحمه الله)]

May Allah make Muslim women, the woman of her religion and grant them innocence untouched by the filth of this Dunya. آمين 🖤

An advice for our brothers 😊

You can marry a woman for her wealth but money will perish.

You can marry a woman for her beauty but beauty will fade away.

You can marry a woman for her power but power will be gone.

If you marry a pious and righteous woman who fears Allah,

- She will honour you,
- She will be affectionate with you,
- She will help you to get closer to Allah.

Your love story will last forever. It will begin in this life and Insha'Allah will continue in the Hereafter.

Her love and satisfaction will be your key to Jannah.
