Obituary

In the Sure and Certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal Life, the families of Mrs Catherine Ina Manga, the late Alhagie Malick Ousman Manga and Hannah Majula Briggsman announce the home call of their beloved Joseph Adolphus Manga.

Papa Joe is the father of Tumani, Bishop Bannie and Modou Lamin (MJ) Manga — and as well as Bolly Manga, Sukai Manga, Lamin Manga, Saffie Jallow and Nancy Bishop.

This sad news is extended to all family and friends at home and abroad.

The funeral arrangements are as follows:

There will be a vigil service on Thursday October 3rd at the Trinity Methodist Pro-Cathedral beginning at 6pm.

The funeral thanksgiving will take place on the following day Friday October 4th at the Bethel Methodist Church in Banjul beginning at 2pm. Prior to the service, the body of the deceased will be laid out for viewing at his residence in Dippakunda from 10am. Following the funeral service, the deceased will be laid to rest at Christian cemetery in Banjul and condolences will be received thereafter at the Gambia Christian Council on MDI Road in Kanifing.
