APPRECIATION SERVICE FOR IMMEDIATE PAST AREA WOMEN’S MINISTRY EXECUTIVES – WALEWALE AREA
The Walewale Area of The Church of Pentecost, under the leadership of the Area Head, Apostle Norman Appiah-Danquah, organized a special Appreciation Service in honour of four immediate past Area Women’s Ministry Executives who had successfully completed their terms of office. The occasion was held to acknowledge and celebrate their faithful, dedicated, and sacrificial service to the Women’s Ministry and the Church as a whole.
Delivering the keynote address on the theme, “Well Done! Thou Good and Faithful Servant” (Matthew 25:14–15, 19, 21, 30), Apostle Norman Appiah-Danquah reminded the congregation that every believer is a steward entrusted by God with gifts, talents, resources, and opportunities, all of which must be managed faithfully for His glory. He emphasized that the ultimate aspiration of every Christian should be to receive the Master's commendation: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant,” at the end of life's journey.
Expounding on the theme, the Area Head explained that the phrase “good and faithful servant” embodies two essential qualities—character and action. He noted that faithfulness is not merely a matter of busyness, but of responsible stewardship and unwavering commitment to the assignments entrusted by God. He therefore challenged believers to identify and develop their God-given gifts and callings, remain faithful in the discharge of their responsibilities, labour diligently until the Lord returns, and endeavour to leave a lasting and meaningful legacy for future generations.
Apostle Appiah-Danquah further reminded the congregation that a day of accountability awaits all believers, when Christ will return to reward faithful service and judge unfaithfulness. In concluding his message, he stated that the appreciation ceremony served as a reflection of the greater day when all believers will stand before the judgment seat of Christ to render an account of their stewardship.
The service was attended by Mrs. Ruth Appiah-Danquah, members of the Pastorate, the Area Women’s Ministry Leadership, ministers’ wives, and members drawn from various districts and assemblies across the Walewale Area. The gathering provided an opportunity for the Church to express its profound appreciation to the outgoing executives for their invaluable contributions to the growth, development, and impact of the Women’s Ministry in the Area.
The event was marked by joy, gratitude, and heartfelt celebration as the Church honoured the commitment, sacrifices, and achievements of the outgoing executives, whose service has left a lasting imprint on the ministry and the lives of many.
