The Church of Pentecost, Sabuli District in the Wa Area, organized a BECE Prayer Summit for candidates in the Sabuli Circuit on Wednesday, 29th April, 2026 at the Sabuli Central Auditorium.

Students from Ping JHS, Zaguo-Deryiri JHS, Ping M/A JHS, Sabuli M/A JHS, Ngmankuri M/A JHS, and Ngmankuri-Konchuuri JHS attended with their heads and staff.

The candidates were ministered to and prayed for wisdom, understanding, and favour in their exams. They were also supported with mathematical sets, rulers, pens, and erasers.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓, 𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐈 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐒 𝐅𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Church of Pentecost, Sabuli District, successfully hosted the Future Leaders Summit 2026 on 10th April 2026 at the Sabuli Pentecost Church premises under the theme “Preparing Today for Tomorrow’s Success.” The summit highlighted the critical role of intentional preparation, discipline, and the right mindset in achieving academic excellence and future success.

The impactful program brought together JHS 3 students from Sabuli, Zaguo Deriyiri, Ping, Chachaa, and Konchuuri, alongside headteachers, subject teachers, and guidance and counselling coordinators within the Sabuli Circuit. The strong participation reflected a shared commitment among schools and stakeholders to support candidates ahead of the BECE.

The summit featured a high-level team of facilitators, including the Circuit Supervisor, Exams Officer, Deputy HR, PRO, and the Deputy Director of GES (Jirapa Municipal), as well as experienced teachers and professionals. Their collective expertise provided students with both academic direction and practical life guidance.

Key areas of instruction included:
• WAEC examination rules and regulations, equipping students to avoid malpractice and uphold integrity
• Effective question interpretation and answering techniques, with emphasis on time management and structured responses
• Practical examination strategies, including staying calm, avoiding common mistakes, and proper use of answer sheets
• Positive study habits, such as disciplined revision, use of study timetables, and group learning
• Motivation and confidence building, helping students overcome fear and believe in their abilities
• Career awareness and future planning, guiding students to make informed academic and career choices

The facilitators went beyond theory, offering practical insights that bridged the gap between classroom learning and examination success, while also addressing the emotional and psychological readiness of the candidates.

The Future Leaders Summit 2026 proved to be a transformative initiative, reinforcing the message that success is a product of deliberate preparation. By instilling the right knowledge, discipline, and mindset, the Church of Pentecost, Sabuli District has once again demonstrated its commitment to shaping the future of young people and positioning them for excellence in the BECE and beyond.
