Tour For Life Africa is a travel club introduced by Students of Abbeam University which mainly involves touring surrounding land marks and helping people. It seeks to mobilize as many youth as possible especially in the tertiary institutions across the country through organizing regular excursions and other events and by so doing sensitize them about the need to feel obliged or even consider it as
a call of duty by God for us to help the children who are in the various charity homes all over the country. It is clear that minor financial or material support or sacrifices on the part of us can actually prevent massive amounts of suffering. One thing we all should know is that, giving aid to say the poor or underprivileged may sometimes require some inconvenience or some sacrifices of luxury on the part of the donor. But to ignore the plight of these children or to say you are waiting until you get there is as reprehensible as failing to save a drowning child in a pool because of the inconvenience of getting one’s clothes wet. My brothers and sisters, all human beings have dignity, they deserve some respect, and they are entitled to what is necessary to live in dignity. They have the right to live in dignity and the right to materials necessary to satisfy their basic needs. Let us therefore offer them a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on and embrace them in love for that is the call of humanity-to be there for each other…
