*Topic: What it means to Glorify God in what we do*

Key Scripture - Daniel 9 : 1 - 19

Prayer brings glory to God.

Prayer has qualities and for God to answer our prayers, that prayer must have qualities.

*What Qualifies our Prayers?*

*1. Relationship with God.*

God hears and answers our prayers based on our relationship with him.

This relationship is also based on our faith with Jesus Christ.

*2. Purpose to Obey what you hear.*

I John 3 : 21 - 22

_21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God._

_22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight._

_23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment._

John 15 : 16 - Bear fruits of obedience.

*3. Having a heart after God*

Acts 13 : 22

_22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will._

God's heart is Grace and Mercy which will always produce forgiveness.

God doesn't give us what we deserve because of Jesus Christ.

David knew how to forgive because his heart was after God's own heart of forgiveness.

Judges 10 : 15

_15 And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day._
