MORE THAN CONQUERORS MISSION
MORNING DEVOTION
13TH AUGUST 2026
VL TINA
Theme:ANAGKAZO: COMPEL THEM TO COME
“We don't chase crowds; we rescue souls.”

Key Scriptures
Luke 14:23 (NIV)
“Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full.’”
Mark 16:15 (NIV)
“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.’”

PRISON ILLUSTRATION
Imagine a prison.
There are cells and cell blocks, reception and admission areas, visitation areas, corridors, yards and different sections within the prison. People may be in different compartments, but they are all still within the prison environment.
Now imagine that Adam and Eve disobeyed God, and through sin, humanity became separated from God. We were born into a world enslaved to sin—a spiritual prison from which we could not free ourselves by our own strength.
But then Jesus came!
Jesus opened the prison doors.
Through His death and resurrection, He made a way for us to be free from the bo***ge of sin and reconciled to God.
The door is open.
But here is the important part:
Not everyone has walked out.
Some people are still inside the prison because they don't know that the door is open. Some have heard about the door but don't believe that freedom outside is better. Some are comfortable with their surroundings. Others are afraid to leave because they don't know what life outside looks like.
And this is where we come in.
WE HAVE BEEN SENT BACK
If you have experienced the freedom that is outside the prison, you cannot simply walk away and say:
“The door is open. If they want to leave, they should leave.”
No!
Jesus has given us an assignment.
We have been commanded to GO.
We are called to go into the roads, the streets, the communities, the schools, the campuses, the workplaces and everywhere people are—and tell them:
“The door is open!”
“There is freedom in Christ!”
“You don't have to remain in that prison!”
This is why Jesus said:
“Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” — Mark 16:15
How can they come if they don't know the way out?
How can they believe if they have never heard?
How can they hear if nobody tells them?“Come. There is freedom outside!”
Because we know something they may not yet know:
We have been there.
We know what life inside the prison looks like.
And we have experienced the freedom that Jesus gives.
PLEASE DON'T COMPARE YOUR ASSIGNMENT WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S
Remember, the prison has different compartments.
Some people may have left one section but are still struggling to completely embrace the freedom Christ has given them. Others may have walked completely out and are actively reaching back for those who remain.
Therefore, don't look at someone who isn't evangelizing and say, “If they aren't doing it, why should I?”
Your assignment is still your assignment.
Don't allow another person's inactivity to become an excuse for your disobedience.
We have all been given different responsibilities, gifts and opportunities, but the command to make disciples and preach the Gospel remains.
You don't have to wait for everyone else before you obey God.
If you have found freedom, help someone else find it too.Our assignment is to show them the way out.
The prison door has been opened.
Jesus is the way out.
So let us go back—not because we belong there, but because someone else is still there.

Thank you all and have a lovely day

In Jesus's name Amen 🙏 🙌

MORE THAN CONQUERORS MISSION
MORNING DEVOTION
12TH AUGUST 2026
HE MINISTER OWUSU
Theme: ANAGKAZO — YOU ARE ALWAYS AT AN ADVANTAGE

*Text: Luke 14:23*
*“Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."*

Dear Missionaries, today is another opportunity God has given us. We have been studying the topic Anagkazo throughout this past week; and our Father-Apst Dr. Chris has blessed us by digging deep into this powerful theme.
In today’s devotion, I would like for us to look at the *advantage we have in propagating the Gospel.*

We must understand that when God gives us an assignment, He puts us at an advantage to accomplish it. He will make all the necessary provision for us. Sometimes, You will wonder, what I'm I going to say but the Scripture makes us know that He has given us the Holy Spirit who will teach us all things, even the words to speak to that person we meet.

Anagkazo means to compel, persuade, urge, and persistently reach people for Christ. With this said, someone might ask, why do I say we are always at an advantage?

*This is because:*
-The God who gives us the assignment is always with us; You do not go alone on any mission assignment. He said, *I will not leave nor forsake You*. The One who sends us, will go with us.

Matthew 28:19–20:*
*“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations... and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”*
This reminds us that we are not going alone. The same Jesus who sends us has promised to be with us.

So the song minster says: *"I walk with God the Father, I walk with God the Son, I walk with God the Spirit; three of them joined, I get backing ooo. I know dey walk alone."* Somebody, you get backing; you know dey walk alone.

-The second point is that: We have the Gospel (the Good news), the message that can change lives, restore hope, and save souls. For instance just saying *'Jesus loves You to someone*' is a good news to the person and can transform the life of that person forever.

*Romans 1:16 says:*
*“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.”*
The Gospel we carry is our advantage. We may not have everything, but we have the Gospel, and the Good news that carries the power to save and transform lives.

-We also have the *authority* to go, because Jesus said, *“Go out,”* and our assignment comes from Him, giving us divine backing.

-Above all, *the call to soul winning is an opportunity to every believer to make Jesus death and resurrection a blessing to humanity.* And every opportunity God gives us, is a chance to bring someone closer to Christ; and help fill His house.

Every person we meet is a potential soul for the Kingdom. Therefore, we must not allow fear, rejection, or excuses to stop us.
Brethren, having realised that we are at an advantage now; let us go with confidence. Do not be afraid to approach someone, invite someone, pray for someone, or share Jesus with someone.
We don't go because we are strong—no! We go because God is with us.

*Declaration*
This morning I am at an advantage because God is with me. I will not fear rejection, I will not make excuses, and I will not remain silent. I will go, compel, persuade, and win souls for Christ. Through me, *mention your name*, lives will be transformed and God's house will be filled. In Jesus mighty name, Amen!

More Than Conquerors Mission Group
Devotional Morning
11th August 26
VL Dr. Gifty
Theme: ANAGKAZO: EVERY OPPORTUNITY CAN BECOME A MISSION FIELD

MTC family, let me share something that happened on Saturday.
I was returning from Takoradi to Accra after attending a funeral at Cape Coast. As I was leaving, one of my colleagues stopped me. Although we were colleagues, I did not really know him personally. He needed a lift to Accra, so I stopped and took him along.
I did not know that this ordinary journey was going to become an opportunity for ministry.
One thing about me is that I do not hide the fact that I am a soul winner. I am an evangelist. I am a missionary.
In fact, I like to brag about it!
If you come close to me, sooner or later, you will hear about Jesus and soul winning.

So I told him:
“The one thing in this life that gives me genuine joy and fulfilment is winning souls and helping to bring the lost into the house of God. Nothing gives me greater fulfilment than seeing someone come to Christ.”
That opened the door for him also to tell me about himself.
He told me that he had once been a Methodist. He had been passionate about the things of God, and he used to bring people to church. He had once been involved in the very thing I was talking about: soul winning.
But somewhere along the journey of life, because of one or two things, he stopped.
Immediately, I told him:
“Go back to your first love.”
That passion you once had for God, go back to it.
That joy you experienced when you were bringing people to Christ, return to it.
And if there is any relationship, association, habit, or situation that is corrupting your good character and drawing you away from God, deal with it.
Then I shared something very personal with him.
I told him, “None of us is perfect. I am not standing here claiming that I have never sinned. When I sin, I go back to God. I confess my sin, ask Him for forgiveness, and depend on the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ. I do not run away from God because I have fallen. I run back to Him.”

The Bible says:
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us fromallunrighteousness.”
— 1 John 1:9
So I encouraged him:
Go back.
Go back to God.
Go back to your first love.
Go back to your passion for souls.
Do not allow your past mistakes to convince you that God cannot use you again.
He was so grateful.
He thanked me for what I had shared with him.
And for me, the matter has not ended because we arrived in Accra.
I am going to follow him up.
Why?
Because evangelism is not merely speaking to someone once.
Sometimes you must call again.
Sometimes you must encourage again.
Sometimes you must pray again.
Sometimes you must follow up until that person becomes strong again.
That is also ANAGKAZO.
THIS EXPERIENCE TAUGHT ME SOMETHING
MTC missionaries, sometimes we make evangelism too complicated.
Soul winning can begin with an ordinary conversation.
You do not always need a microphone.
You do not always need a crusade.
You do not always need to organise an evangelism programme before you can witness.
Sometimes your car can become your mission field.
Your office can become your mission field.
Your classroom can become your mission field.
Your WhatsApp can become your mission field.
Your journey can become your mission field.
A funeral can create a divine connection.
A colleague can become your mission field.
A simple conversation can become somebody's turning point.

That Saturday, I thought I was simply giving someone a lift from Cape Coast to Accra.
But God had another purpose for the journey.
That is why we must always be ready.
MTC, WHEREVER YOU FIND YOURSELF, SHARE CHRIST
Fellow MTC missionaries, this morning I want to encourage all of us.
Wherever you find yourself, share the Word of God.
Talk about Jesus.
Tell people what God has done for you.
Tell them there is forgiveness.
Tell the backslider that there is a way home.
Tell the discouraged person not to give up.
Tell the person who has fallen that failure does not have to be the final chapter.
You do not know whom you are impacting.
You do not know whom you are inspiring.
You do not know whose prayer God is using you to answer.
You do not know whose life may change because of one conversation.

Jesus said:
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me...”
— Acts 1:8
God did not give us the power of the Holy Spirit merely for us to enjoy spiritual experiences.
He empowered us to become witnesses.
That power must move us outward.
That power must make us speak.
That power must make us go.
That power must make us reach people.
🔥 MY CHALLENGE TO MTC TODAY
Do not wait for the next organised evangelism programme.
Your evangelism starts where you are.
Today, speak to somebody.
Call somebody.
Send somebody a message.
Encourage a backslider.
Invite somebody to Christ.
Share your testimony.
Follow up someone you have not seen in church for some time.
You may think it is just a conversation.
But heaven may have arranged the conversation.
And when God gives you the opportunity, do not waste it.

That is ANAGKAZO.
We go.
We reach.
We persuade in love.
We follow up.
We disciple.
And by the grace of God, we bring them home.
🔥 MTC DECLARATION
I am a missionary.
I am a soul winner.
Wherever I go, I carry the Gospel.
My workplace is a mission field.
My journey is a mission field.
My neighbourhood is a mission field.
My relationships are opportunities to demonstrate Christ.
I will not be ashamed of Jesus.
I will not keep quiet when God gives me an opportunity to speak.
I will reach the lost.
I will encourage the discouraged.
I will pursue the backslidden in love.
I will tell people that there is forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
I will follow up.
I will disciple.
And I will allow the Holy Spirit to use my ordinary conversations for eternal purposes.
ANAGKAZO!

MTC, LET US GO OUT AND WIN SOULS!
You never know whose life one conversation will change.

*MORNING DEVOTION*
*MONDAY 10, AUGUST 2026*
*HE OTABIL*
*THEME: ANAGKAZO*

*Scripture: Luke 14:23(KJV)*
“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”

The word *“Anagkazo”* is a Greek word that means to compel, urge strongly, or persuade.
This is a picture of God’s heart for the lost. God desires that His house be full, and He has entrusted believers with the responsibility of bringing people into His Kingdom. Anagkazo is not about forcing people against their will; it is about passionately persuading them through love, prayer, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the preaching of the Gospel.

The early church lived with this burden. They preached boldly, prayed fervently, and sacrificed greatly so that souls would be saved. As believers today, we must carry the same urgency.

The world is filled with people who are hurting, confused, and far from God. We are called to reach them, disciple them, and lead them to Christ.
Just like our Papa always say and I quote; This is our time ! Our time to make history for Christ! Our time to awake! Our time to shake our generation for Christ! Let’s populate heaven and depopulate hell.

*PRAYER:* Oh lord Let my life be a tool for bringing souls into Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
