Rapture. Part 2.

It actually talks about God taking the Church out of the World instantaneously.

The term rapio, is a Latin term which means to "sn**ch away" or "carry off." This is where the English word of the term gets its source.

There is actually different views of the millennium in relation to the second coming of Christ. Nonetheless, most views affirm a literal return of Christ to the earth preceding the eternal state.

The distinct event of the "rapture" is often emphasized in _premillennialism._

There are 3 main approaches to understanding the "rapture" in premillennialism:

1. Pre-tribulational view
2. A Mid-tribulational view
3. A Posttribulational view

Rapture. Part 1

Finding the word "rapture" in the Bible is not possible. In other words, the word is not used in the Holy book, but the idea is found there in it.

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, letter, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ, talks about the idea of rapture in chapter 4 verses 14,15,16,17 and 18. With verse 17 stressing on the believers in Christ being "caught up" in the cloud at the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ( His 2nd coming) at the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God.

The idea of rapture is clearly stated in the Holy Bible and the Apostle tells us to comfort one another with these words.

There is hope, those who die in the Lord as soldiers of the cross will rise again, those who are alive by that time will meet the Lord in the air.

In fact, this scripture is the main Biblical passage of the rapture(Gk. harpazo) of the Church.

There are other texts often used to support the doctrine of rapture. (John 14:1-3 and 1 Cor. 15:51-52)

In fact we will be transported to our homes far away, where the Lord is, there we shall be.
