The Wassa Nsuta District of The Church of Pentecost in Tarkwa Area has joyfully celebrated the send-off of Rev. Samuel Emery Yormesor and his family after a remarkable season of ministry in the District.
The send-off service, held on Sunday, 16 August 2026, at Rev Stephen Appiah Memorial Temple was marked by heartfelt appreciation, joyful celebrations, testimonies, tributes, and emotional moments as members, leaders, friends, and well-wishers gathered to honour the outgoing District Pastor and his family.
The atmosphere throughout the service reflected a deep sense of gratitude for the years of service, sacrifice, leadership, and commitment rendered to the work of God and the wider community. There were moments of laughter and celebration, but also tears of joy and heartfelt emotion, as many expressed their appreciation for the impact of the Yormesor family during their years of service in Wassa Nsuta.
The occasion also celebrated the relationships built, lives touched, ministries strengthened, and memories created throughout the period of service. Speakers and representatives from various groups and institutions expressed gratitude for the pastoral leadership and support received during the years.
For Rev. Yormesor and his family, the occasion was not merely a farewell but a celebration of God’s faithfulness throughout their journey in Wassa Nsuta.
As the family prepares to move into a new chapter of ministry, the District expressed its appreciation and prayed for God’s continued guidance, grace, favour, and fruitfulness in their next assignment.
The send-off ended on a joyful note, with a strong sense that although one chapter had come to an end, the bonds of love, fellowship, and kingdom partnership would continue.
Wassa Nsuta may have said goodbye, but the memories will remain. To God be all the glory!
