HIGHER EVERYDAY

*PRAYER SOLVES PROBLEMS*

_"Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms"_ - *James 5:13*

Prayer is expressing our wish or desires to a loving and willing God. The Bible encourages all people to pray. From our text prayer should be made at all times. In times of danger, difficulties, sicknesses and any kind of challenge you may face, you should pray. A man of God stated that, _“Nothing lies beyond the reach of prayer except that which lies outside the will of God.”_ You should also express appreciation or thanks to God when your needs are met, or anytime you receive blessings from Him.
In 1985, during a crusade organized by the Deeper Life Bible Church at the National Stadium in Lagos, a boy born without bones in his leg was brought by his mother. That was indeed a big problem. Obviously, medical science had no solution to that, but as prayer ministration was made, bones were formed in the leg instantaneously. What an amazing miracle! You can solve all problems through prayers to God if really you are His child (Mark 11:20-23; John 14:13).

*Challenge:* Whenever you pray believe that God answers.

*Prayer:* Heal me O God, of all diseases in Jesus’ name.

*Quote:* Solve all problems through prayers.

*Further Reading:* Psalm 103:1-4
Good morning n have a blissful day!!!

315 days have been spent already, 51 days remain. God is saying to you that your latter days will be greater than your former days, you will grow from zero to hero, from grass to grace, from stop to top, from boys quarter to headquarter, God will make you the head and not the tail. You will grow from shame to fame by HIS grace.

I remember any time I travelled from Accra to Kumasi via a "VIP" bus,the bus normally stopped at "Linda Dor" rest stop for passengers to buy things and make themselves comfortable for the journey.
One thing I do remember is, the driver gives everyone 10 minutes to do whatever one wants to do. Some people choose to buy food while others attend to calls either of nature or from their phones. But all are supposed to do that within the given time. I observed that each and every passenger did everything in a hurry in order not to miss the bus when it is ready for moving. In fact,at that point everyone is aware of the journey and they clearly know that "Linda Dor" isn't their destination but a rest stop.
The question is, are you aware the earth isn't your destination and that you are here for a short time. Some people feel so comfortable on this earth to the extent that they forget they are on a journey. With the bus, sometimes the driver horns to create awareness that it would move soon. But do remember that, there's no more signs to alert us of the last day. I saw videos of people crying and some attempting su***de for "Kaba". One thing that we should note is that, this journey is not about how long you live but how well you live.
It is appointed to all of us to die once, after it, is judgement.
Assess your life and ask if you are fit to be in God's bosom. If you are not, just turn to Christ and He will help you.

Reflections 4 Today
Hebrew 12:1-4/Mark 5:21-43

How deep is your faith? Can you keep your heart and eyes focused on Christ amid the challenges and difficulties around you? Do you know that any person who turns to Christ, finds mercy, compassion and healing? Our Lord always presents Himself to those who seek Him. In His own time, which is always the right time, He answers those who petition Him. Christ sprinkles miracles in our lives every day. He gives to us, freely and wholly of Himself, always providing for us when we most need His providence. All we need to do is to get close to Him with expectant faith; and like the “woman afflicted with haemorrhages for twelve years,” touch His cloak. Alternatively, when we get close to Him, we can, like Jairus the synagogue official “fall at His feet and pleaded earnestly with Him.” But, as we pray, we need to trust. That way, we would hear Christ say to us, “your faith has saved you.” Finally, we are entreated to “rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us.” That is the race to heaven, our final destination…

*She is always at the church premises by 0600 hrs wearing some faded jeans, an old T shirt and some slippers. She always comes to clean the seats, arranging them, decorating the pulpit and clean the place when ever it is dirty ....*

*For six years she has never missed a single Saturday coming to clean the place.*

*One Saturday a young man in a suit walked into the church while she was still arranging the chairs. He went and sat down watching as the lady was working.*

*He was impressed that a lady who looked quite good even in the old cloths and a scarf over her hair could be so dedicated to her work in church. He thought within himself that this was an unfortunate lady who probably had not gotten anyone to take care of her schooling and now she would probably be an orange seller or some petty trader struggling to make ends meet at the market stall. He watched and within his heart he felt he now knew what God wanted him to do. When he had felt a compulsion to come very early to church he had not understood but now he thought he did.*

*He went back to his car and took out two $50 notes and when the lady finished her work and was about to leave he called her and commended her for her service and gave her the notes.*

*She respectfully declined the gift but he insisted pressing it into her hands. He asked if she lived close by or if he could go drop her so she would not be late for the morning devotion.*

*She thanked him and told him that her car was out side, but he did not comprehend or even try to understand what she had just said. He walked her out determined to find out all he could about this lady that God wanted him to help change her level.*

*They walked out of the church with him telling her where he worked and how God had asked him to come early to church that day and how he believed God is directing him to help make a big difference in her life. He was so busy talking he had not realized they had walked directly to a BMW parked under some trees in the parking lot.*

*The car made his one year old Benz look like a worn out wheel barrow.*

*The lady opened the driver’s door stepped in and handed over her card to the man and said;*
*“I believe God sent you here for a purpose, but I do not think it was to change my level, Most likely it was to change yours.”*
*I am tempted to say it took a forklift to shut the young man's mouth and move him from the place he was glued to as the lady drove off. God had a purpose for bringing him to church that morning and that purpose was to teach him humility which he learnt well because now two people always clean the house of the Lord .....*

*Many times we think so highly of ourselves that where God sends us to learn we go trying to teach. We always imagine ourselves as teachers, never as students.*

*Teach us, Oh teach us to be humble Lord.....*

THE DIFFERENCE 😊⁉

*Matthew 26:56*
_But all this has taken place that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled."_ *Then all the disciples left him and fled.* 😂😂

*Acts 5:40-42*
and when they had called in the apostles, *they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus*, and let them go. Then _they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name_. AND EVERY DAY, in the temple and from house to house, *they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.* 😃😃

*So what is the difference ❓😊*
*Answer:* The Holy Ghost‼ ✨💫🔥⚡✅

*Acts 1:8*
But you will receive power 💪🏻⚡ when the *Holy Spirit* has come upon you, and _you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."🌏_

I thank God for given me this great gift of the Spirit of God 🙏🏼. By this Spirit, I am a son of God. 🙌🏼.
