SERMON TODAY – Fresh Word, Fresh Fire📖 🔥
From Weakness to Warrior
📖 Judges 6–7 (The story of Gideon)
Introduction
Beloved, Gideon thought he was the least in his family, unworthy to lead. Yet God looked at him and called him a “mighty man of valor.” Society saw weakness, but God saw strength. Gideon’s story is not just history — it is a mirror for our daily lives.
3 Lessons for Social Living📍
1️⃣ Don’t Let Self-Doubt Define You 🤷♂️
Gideon said, _“My clan is the weakest, and I am the least.”_ (Judges 6:15). Many times, we let background, education, or people’s opinions reduce us. But God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Never allow self-doubt to silence your potential.
2️⃣ Obedience Brings Victory🙏
God reduced Gideon’s army from 32,000 to 300. Human logic would say “impossible,” but obedience to God opened the door for victory. In our social lives, success is not always about resources or connections, but about listening and obeying divine direction.
3️⃣ Unity Multiplies Strength✊
Gideon’s 300 men moved with one heart and one strategy. That unity broke the power of a mighty army. In families, workplaces, and communities, division weakens us, but unity makes us unstoppable. _“A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”_ (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
Conclusion ☑️
Child of God, you may feel small, but with faith, obedience, and unity, you can bring transformation to your family, community, and nation. Gideon’s God is still our God today. Rise up and live as a warrior, not a victim!
