To help them to have an encounter with the Holly spirit and build a Godly Relationships. To connect them to enjoy the family of Gods blessings and Divine Encounter through serving in the house of the lord. To equip them to become like CHRIST- Discipleship

LOCATION
We a
re blessed to fellowship at the Elim City Church, Sunyani every Sundays at 7am, 8am,9am respectively. We also meet twice on every first and third Saturdays of every month for our general meetings and gathering . WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
The BIBLE- it is GOD’s word to all people. It written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT. Because it was inspired by GOD, the bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives. (Deuteronomy 4: 1-2; Isaiah 40:8; 2 Peter 3:16)
The TRINITY (GOD 3 IN 1) -
• The FATHER: GOD ALMIGHTY,GOD IS GREAT GOD IS GOOD (Psalm 11: 4-6; Romans 3: 3-4)
• The SON: GOD BECAME MAN (Isaiah 7:14; 1 Corinthians 8:6)
• The HOLY SPIRIT: GOD IS ALWAYS PRESENT (Genesis 1:2; Ephesians 1:13-14)
GOD has existed in relationship with HIMSELF for all eternity. Although each member of the trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 61:1; James 2:9)
ETERNITY
Man was created to exist forever. He will exist either separated from GOD by sin or in union with GOD through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from GOD is hell. To be eternally in union with HIM is Heaven. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence. (John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15)
MAN: GOD’S IMAGE BEARER!!! Man is made in the image of GOD and is the supreme object of HIS creation. Man was created to have fellowship but lost it through sinful disobedience. Thus man can’t have a right relationship with GOD via his own effort. EVERY HUMAN PRSONALITY IS UNIQUELY CREATED, POSSESSES DIGNITY AND IS WORTY OF RESPECT AND CHRISTIAN LOVE!!! (Romans 1:19; Colossians 1:21-22)
SALVATION: GOD’S ONLY WAY
The blood of JESUS CHRIST, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sins. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of CHRIST as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God and it cannot be earned through our own efforts (Isaiah 53:5-6; Romans 5:8-10; Hebrews 9:24-28)
THE CHURCH – GOD’S DESIGN FOR THE COMMUNITY
The church is local community of baptized believers unified through faith in CHRIST it is committed to the teachings of CHRIST and obeying all his commands and it seeks to bring the GOSPEL to the world. The church works together in love & unity with the intent of glorifying CHRIST (Matthew 16:18-19; Acts 16:5; 1 Peter 5:1-4)

@ The Surge, we don’t stress membership – we emphasize PARTICIPATION. We’re not a church of consumes and we encourage all who attend to actively participate in what GOD is doing. The ways you can get involved include inviting friends and family, volunteering, being part of our MOB groups and giving back to GOD through tithing. We call these categories of involvement the 4ls
LOVE
@ The Surge, we believe that the way to fulfill the great commission is by loving GOD and loving people. (Mark 12:30-31; John 3:16) This is why we are known for our love for GOD and people. JESUS commands us to love one another (John 13:34-35; Matthew 5:44)
LEARN
The goal of The Surge is to raise active learners of CHRIST (Matthew 28: 18-20). A disciple is one who is an active learner and follower of the teachings of CHRIST. These are the sought of leaders The Surge seeks to raise. LIVE
We know that it is not good enough to just know the words and teachings of JESUS but we ought to do what we know. Thus in Salt City, ‘living it is an important as knowing it’. In salt city we don’t just talk, we walk the talk. LEAD
Leaders are developed around here. We have an intentional plan of making that happen. At the surge we try to create a great leadership environment and we have great leaders!! We have acknowledged that leaders are learners no matter how long they have been in ministry. And it is important to prioritize training throughout leadership in our congregations, doing whatever it takes to facilitate. See less
