📌 GIST - Are You Exhausted?

✝️ But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers. 1 Kings 19:4 (KJV)

● Even the strongest warriors break down sometimes.

● Elijah had just faced the most challenging spiritual battle, and instead of feeling victorious, he felt drained, overwhelmed, and alone.

● He had done everything right, yet he still ended up in a place of deep weariness.

● However, in that low place, God didn’t scold him, He tenderly met him there.

● Beloved, in a world that sets unrealistic expectations, it can be difficult to acknowledge that you’ve hit your limit and are at a breaking point, just like Elijah.

● God sees your tired heart, and He understands you deeply.

● Dearly beloved, He draws near; not when you’re at your best, but when you’re at your lowest point, to surrender it all and receive His strength.

🙌 Prayer Point: Lord, I’m weary. I need Your presence more than anything. Restore my soul in the places I can’t reach, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

📌 GIST - Do You Feel Too Small for the Task?

✝️ And the Lord said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man. Judges 6:16 (KJV)

● Have you ever felt as if you’re not enough for what’s in front of you, Gideon did, too.

● He saw himself as weak, the least in his family, and the last person who could make a difference.

● But God saw something deeper, and He called Gideon not because he was perfect but because He would be with him.

● Beloved, God doesn’t wait for you to feel confident before He calls you.

○ He uses the humble, the hesitant, the unsure.

● Dearly beloved, you don’t have to be ready in your own strength, and all you just have to say is “yes,” and God will meet you wherever you are.

🙌 Prayer Point: Abba Father, when I feel too small, remind me that You are big enough. Help me trust that You will be with me. Use my weakness for Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

● Sometimes we expect things to go the way we planned.

○ We want fairness; we want justice—our kind of justice.

● Jonah obeyed God, but when the outcome didn’t match what he expected, he got frustrated.

● Deep down, he wanted God to act the way he thought was best.

● Beloved, we’ve all had moments when God didn’t do what we hoped for.

● But even in the tension, He is still kind.

● Dearly beloved, His mercy is bigger than our perspective, and when we let go of control, we make room to see His heart.

● Prayer Point: Lord, I surrender my need to control the outcome. Help me trust Your ways, even when I don’t understand. Show me the beauty of Your mercy in Jesus’ name. Amen.

📌 GIST - Do You Feel You’re Behind?

✝️ And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die. Genesis 30:1 (KJV)

● It’s hard when everyone else seems to be ahead of you.

○ Rachel saw her sister having what she longed for, and the pressure of feeling left behind broke her.

● She wanted to catch up and prove she could give something too, but that kind of pressure only made her heart more desperate and heavy.

● Beloved, you don’t have to compete or compare because you are not late.

● God sees your pain and hears your quiet longing.

● Dearly beloved, He hasn’t forgotten you—your story is unfolding in His time, not anyone else’s.

🙌 Prayer Point: Lord, help me let go of comparison and pressure. Remind me that I’m not behind in Your plan. Fill my heart with peace as I wait on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
