The LORD is my strong defender; he is the one who has saved me. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will sing about his greatness. (Exodus 15:2)

*Dr. Mensa Otabil*

You have been praying earnestly for a breakthrough and it seems like the answer is delaying. Despair begins to fill your heart but I pray that God will grant you strength in the face of adversity. May your faith be strengthened and let the spirit of discouragement be broken in your life.

*Your breakthrough may delay but you will not be denied. May the Lord grant you the patience to inherit His promises. Like Abraham, He will reward your faith*.

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”

SOMETIMES AND SOMETIMES

Sometimes you have to keep your mouth shut, not because you don't have anything to say, but b'cos it's not the best moment to talk.

Sometimes you have to allow people to think negatively of you, not b'cos you can't defend yourself but b'cos no matter what you say or do, it will never change their wrong opinion /thoughts about you.

Sometimes you have to pretend as if you don't know anything, not because you want to deceive anyone but because you want to learn from others..

Sometimes you have to let others win an argument, not b'cos you cannot dispute their point, but so that you can have peace. Enjoy your day with blessings from above.

To Encourage

I am encouraged by this.. .

Few months ago, i walked into an exotic restaurant to have lunch. Immediately i settled down, i hurriedly placed my order (I was damn hungry - *LOL*), I just couldn't wait to eat a sumptuous meal. But things didn't go the way I'd expected it, something else happened.

After almost about 20mins of waiting for my order, 3 guys walked in to have lunch and of course placed their orders. Amazingly, almost immediately, they were served while I was still waiting for my order.

This got me a little angry and then i beckoned on the lady who took my order to inquire why I haven't been served and why the other guys who just walked in already got their foods.

Then the lady said to me politely, "Sir You Made A Very Special Order And It'll Take Time To beautifully Prepare It For You; the other guys just ordered for snacks!"

Hmmm.... that got me thinking. And that's the word for you today. I learnt a very profound lesson that day.

Sometimes in life, when you look around and see all of your friends (even junior friends) having all the good things of life and it just seems you are the only one still waiting (struggling), you feel angry and depressed. But, here's the truth; You ordered a special kind of food, not just snacks/junks.

So I want to encourage you, your order may seem delayed, friends may seem to be enjoying their meal (life) while you are still waiting, I want you to know that God (the master chef) is taking His time to prepare a special delicacy for you and when you are finally served, it's gonna be so sumptuous.

Here's my word for you; Wait just a little longer, Your MEAL is almost ready!

God bless You friend, i am PROUD of your waiting moment, & I just can't wait to celebrate your MEAL moments.
Good morning 😊

SAVED TO SERVE II

Mark 1:30 But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her. 31 And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

Most of the time, we find ourselves in certain situations that demands the eternal power of God to set us free. And as the scripture reveals anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

But after the salvation episode, we retire into the leisure and comfort mode. So we have alot of Christians today, who are SAVED, SANCTIFIED AND SATISFIED. They carry their salvation certificate around with glee but they are reluctant to make any meaningful impact in the kingdom of God, to which they have been called.

Peter's mother in law was sick and needed healing, so Jesus as usual stretched forth his healing hands to touch her. But what fascinates me is that, the moment she rose up from the sick bed she ministered unto them.

The reason you and I, were saved was primarily for us to be ministers in the kingdom of God. 1 Peter 2:9 says, But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Proverbs 20:23 Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good. Gradually, I have come to the utter realization that, what people say and do and what people say they do are not the same.

Our lifestyles have confiscated the truth and dragged us into a compartmentalized and secularly sterilized world. Where integrity literally gasp for air. Our inability to synchronize our thoughts and acts, has eventually forced us into a comfortable ambience of imbalance lifestyle.

I believe as Christians there must not be in any form a strict dichotomy between who we are essentially and what we do. So the barber at church is the same barber that you meet at the shop in terms of lifestyle attitude. So that, the Doctor, Nurse, Teacher, Accountant is the same at the work place as the solemn person who came to church on Sunday.

Simply ask yourself this question, if majority of Ghanaians are Christians as it is purported by the statistical service, then who are the corrupt citizens we are pointing fingers at and lamenting about daily?? If the streets are virtually empty on Sunday's and we truly believe in what is preached at Church, then how come this state of anomaly ?

If that Policeman by the street and that public officer owns a seat at the office then they must make it count. In 1Timothy 4:16 Paul admonished Timothy "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers."
