Pentecost Week 2026 Climax at Achiase Central Assembly with the Area Head and wife, Aps. Frank & Mrs. Ruth Awuah Fordjour.
The sermon was delivered by Aps. Frank Awuah Fordjour on the topic, “The Power of the Holy Spirit,” drawn from this year’s Pentecost Week theme, “Reliving the Pentecost Experience.”
The message was anchored on Deuteronomy 8:18, Luke 24:49, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 4:33, Romans 8:14, Exodus 31:3-5, Proverbs 10:4 and Matthew 6:33.
In his sermon, the Area Head emphasized that every church member must be baptized in the Holy Spirit with the manifestation of speaking in tongues. He explained that the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live holy lives and also releases the gifts of the Spirit for effective Christian living and ministry.
Aps. Frank Awuah Fordjour further stated that the Holy Spirit brings total transformation into the lives of believers and serves as the divine channel through which power flows. He encouraged the church to understand that it is the blessings of God that truly make a man.
The sermon highlighted the Holy Spirit as the source of divine ideas, wisdom and creativity to accomplish extraordinary things. Drawing lessons from Exodus 31:3-5, he noted that the Spirit of God gives creative strategies for wealth creation, insight into deep things and opens doors of opportunities. He also stressed that the Holy Spirit gives direction to believers, according to Romans 8:14.
Touching on wealth and blessings, the Area Head admonished believers to use their resources to support the work of God, help the poor and needy, and influence positive societal decisions. Christians were cautioned not to waste wealth on ungodly lifestyles such as alcoholism and immorality.
He further emphasized that all these can be achieved through prayer and dependence on the Holy Spirit. Believers were encouraged to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, as stated in Matthew 6:33, with the assurance that all other things would be added unto them.
The congregation was also encouraged to uphold integrity, practice generosity, diligently do the work of God and faithfully pay their tithes, referencing Proverbs 10:4.
Indeed, the Pentecost Week 2026 Climax Service at Achiase Central Assembly was a powerful moment of spiritual renewal, revival and transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit.
