“As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

*Reflection:*
God's Word is a powerful, effective force that accomplishes His purposes. As we proclaim and apply Scripture, we tap into its power, experiencing transformation and seeing God's plans fulfilled.

*Prayer:*
Lord, may Your Word be spoken and applied in my life, accomplishing Your purposes and bringing glory to Your name.

*Action Step:*
Reflect on a time when God's Word brought change or power to your life. Share that experience with someone, declaring the effectiveness of God's Word.

*Monday, January 19, 2026: Created for Good Works*

_Scripture: Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."_

*REFLECTION*
Your life has pre-assigned purpose. Before you were born, God prepared specific good works for you to accomplish. You're not wandering aimlessly, trying to invent your own purpose. You're discovering and walking in the purpose God already designed. This should relieve pressure and create excitement. You don't have to figure everything out - you just have to stay close to God and follow His leading. He'll bring you to the people you're meant to serve, the problems you're meant to solve, and the works you're meant to complete. The divine and human exchange means God doesn't just save you FROM something (sin and death); He saves you FOR something (purpose and good works). Today, ask God to reveal the next good work He's prepared for you. Your life has divine assignments waiting to be fulfilled.

Creator God, thank You for preparing good works for me in advance. Lead me to fulfill the purposes You've designed for my life.

*Wednesday, January 14, 2026: Children of God*

_Scripture: 1 John 3:1, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"_

*REFLECTION*
"Children of God" isn't just a nice title - it's your actual identity. You're not God's employee, His servant, His distant acquaintance. You're His child. This means you have access to the Father anytime, anywhere. You don't need an appointment or permission. You can run to Him with your joys, your fears, your questions, your messes. Being God's child means you're an heir, with rights to all the resources of heaven. It means you're loved unconditionally, not based on performance. It means you're protected, provided for, and guided by a perfect Father. The world might reject you, but you're accepted in the family of God. People might abandon you, but your Father never will. Today, live from this identity. You're not trying to become God's child through good behavior - you already are His child through faith in Jesus.

*Prayer:*
Abba Father, thank You for lavishing Your love on me and calling me Your child. Help me live confidently in this identity today. Amen.
