📖 Wisdom for the Journey

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” — Matthew 7:13–14

Beloved, the road to life is not the road of convenience. Jesus never promised that the journey of righteousness would be popular, easy, or comfortable. In fact, He warned that the way leading to life is narrow and difficult.

The broad way attracts crowds because it demands little sacrifice. It allows compromise, fleshly desires, worldly living, and careless Christianity. Many walk there because it is comfortable to follow the crowd rather than obey God.

But the narrow way is different.

It requires holiness in a corrupt world.
It requires obedience when disobedience is celebrated.
It requires standing for truth even when truth is unpopular.

Few choose this path because the flesh naturally resists discipline, surrender, and self-denial. Yet the narrow road is the only road that leads to life.

Do not measure truth by numbers.
The majority can still be wrong.
Popularity is not proof of God’s approval.

Many are applauded by men while drifting farther from God.

Wisdom for the journey is this:
Do not leave the narrow path because the broad road looks easier.

Stay faithful even when you feel alone.
Stay holy even when compromise is common.
Stay obedient even when the world mocks righteousness.

Because the destination matters more than the comfort of the journey.

👅 THE TONGUE SYMBOL AND THE HIDDEN RITUAL

For years, the internet has been flooded with celebrities, influencers, and ordinary people sticking out their tongues in photos and videos.

Most see it as harmless fun.

But beneath the surface, some researchers believe the gesture connects to something far older. 👁️

Ancient depictions of Kali and other ritual deities repeatedly show the same expression:

The extended tongue.
The intense stare.
The symbolic release of primal energy.

What once appeared inside temples and sacred imagery now appears across social media, music culture, fashion, and entertainment. 🔺

Hollywood normalized it.
Pop culture amplified it.
The digital world turned it into a trend copied by millions.

And that is where the pattern becomes unsettling.

Because symbols do not need to be understood consciously to influence collective behavior.

Ancient civilizations believed gestures carried energy, identity, and spiritual meaning.

Today, the same archetypes seem hidden inside selfies, viral trends, and modern celebrity culture.

Perhaps the most effective form of programming is not force.

But repetition disguised as entertainment.

📖 Wisdom for the Journey

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

Beloved, one of the greatest struggles in the journey of life is learning to trust God even when we do not fully understand His ways. Human understanding is limited, but God sees the end from the beginning.

Many times, what makes sense to the flesh may lead away from God’s purpose, while the path ordained by God may require faith, patience, and surrender.

That is why scripture says:
“Lean not on your own understanding.”

Do not trust your emotions above God’s voice.
Do not trust human wisdom above divine direction.
Do not allow temporary circumstances to weaken your confidence in God.

The danger of self-dependence is that it makes a man feel he can navigate life without seeking God sincerely. But every journey outside God’s guidance eventually leads to confusion, frustration, or regret.

To acknowledge God in all your ways means to involve Him in every area of life:

Your decisions.
Your relationships.
Your plans.
Your future.
Your daily walk.

Not just in emergencies, but in everything.

And scripture gives a beautiful promise:
“He shall direct your paths.”

God is able to guide the man who truly depends on Him. He gives wisdom where there is confusion, clarity where there is uncertainty, and direction where there seems to be no way.

Wisdom for the journey is this:
Trust God more than your feelings, your fears, or your own understanding.

Sometimes the safest path will not be the easiest one.
Sometimes obedience will not immediately make sense.
But the God who leads never loses His own.

Walk by faith.
Depend on Him daily.
And let God direct your steps.
