Fix It
Numbers 14 presents us with a 3-way thematic segment of God's care and protection over His people. It began with the rebellion by the Israelites, the intercession of Moses and ended with the judgment of God. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that the place of intercession is the fountain of revelation and well of remembrance. Beyond these, however, there is one that should be of utmost concern to every believer and everyone. It has to do with sin, evil and mischief. The scripture terms it iniquity. It is defined as immoral behaviour, wickedness or gross injustice. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that the punishment for sin is transgenerational, and its consequences amplify in successive generations. This is a spiritually binding legal instrument which the enemy uses to plague innocent families. They may not have committed any injustice, yet they become victims of the consequences of the iniquitous fathers. The LORD is calling your attention to this scripture to consider your ways because the quality of life of your great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren is determined by your intercession and conduct in this world. Do not let the next generation bear the evil consequences of misbehaviour. Let us stand as agents of mercy and candidates of the redeeming blood of Jesus to end bloodline consequences and raise a generation of righteousness and love. Let us be fixers of bloodline errors through the agency of the Blood of Jesus.

This Psalm chapter is attributed to King David. It is a profoundly personal prayer of devotion and trust in the LORD. It was written in a time of pain, confusion, and trouble. It presents a classic case study we need to apply personally through life's changing scenes. This chapter focuses on the essence and worth of God in our lives. This verse identifies 5 powerful attributes of God that are released in our lives during difficult moments. They include;
: The wellspring and source of the love of God
: The source of His favour
: The channel in the spirit that keeps the virtues of God flowing
: The dimension of God's kindness and beauty which covers shame
: The covenant faithfulness and trustworthiness of God.
The difficult times in our lives therefore see more of God at work. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that trials and afflictions are catalysts for the experience of supernatural virtues from Jesus, our Lord and saviour.

This chapter of the Book of Job presents some of the responses Elihu, one of Job's friends, gave. Overall, it chides Job's perceived self-righteousness while powerfully acknowledging God's sovereignty and mercy. Scripture says that was a misplaced assessment of Job's predicament, but it did not change the truth about God's mercy at work. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that God is in the business of lifting people from the pit of destruction. God's redeeming grace is still active. The power of the sacrifice of Jesus to meet the ransom demands of death, hell and the grave is very much in operation. You do not have any excuse to be or go to hell. You are in the centre of God's amazing and abounding grace. He is present to deliver and to save those who are yet to find Christ. The price tag on every believer extends beyond wealth into eternity. It is the tag of eternal life. Let your badge of salvation and certificate of redemption be evident for all to see as you encourage others to also yield to the power of His redeeming blood.

The book of Songs of Solomon is generally noted for its intimate presentation of love and romance. It is a metaphorical description of Christ and his church. Henna Blossom is also described as a cluster of camphire in other versions. It is a type of flowering plant that grows in clusters of white and yellow flowers with a pleasant fragrance. Its uses include dyes, perfumes, medicine, amongst others. The henna in the Old Testament language has the same meaning as to cover, make an atonement or pay a redemption price. The vineyards of Engedi are a productive and fertile spring that is located near the dry and rocky Dead Sea in the desert. This presents a picturesque description of an invigorating and revitalising spring in the desert filled with sweet flowers and pleasant fragrances. The expression of beloved reveals the deep show of affection to a lover and a special friend. The Holy Spirit is revealing the abundant and amazing grace of the LORD Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit that has been extended to you in this depraved world of sin and disobedience. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that the atoning blood of Jesus is still very active to secure your redemption, protection and preservation.

This scripture sets the tone for a highly productive and blessed life. It presents obligations and responsibilities. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that the blessings of God are not acquired through irresponsible carelessness. There are prerequisites that help you walk under open heavens and fertile ground. Use this scripture to troubleshoot the root causes of challenges you encounter in life. It is a 3-point question;
#1. How diligent are you in hearing the voice of God
#2. How well do you observe and attend to His instructions
#3. How eager are you to do and perform what He asks of you?
These are the 3 main foundations required for supernatural upliftment, uncommon promotion and divine elevation. God is ever ready to set you up beyond your wildest imagination. However, that level of blessing is tied to obedience to the Word of God. When you set God above all you consider, He will also set you above all that are considered.

Horeb holds powerful, profound memories for the Israelites. That's the place of God's palpable presence, an arena of supernatural encounters and the transit of angelic activity. Horeb became known as the mountain of God because that was also the place where the Israelites later received the 10 commandments and the laws. It was the place where God gave water out of the rock to His people. However, the downside of Horeb came at the point of complaints, disobedience and idolatry, when they made and worshipped the golden calf image. The latter is the frightening reality of Horeb. One can become so used to the faithfulness of God such that blessings are seen as burdens and complacency takes the place of commitment. Horeb is the point in our lives where worry takes the place of worship. When you dwell in Horeb for long, you become oblivious to the acts of God. The Holy Spirit is reminding you through this scripture that what you are complaining about was once an answered prayer. The complaints come when you want to find comfort. However, there is a next level for you. The faithfulness of God in your life is to keep you going until He lays you to rest or calls you home. You are in transit. Get up! Keep pursuing, keep pushing. The testimonies of yesterday mean anticipate future glory. Work to embrace it.

This was the second response to the servant who gained two additional talents. It is the same response as the one who gained the extra 5. Numerically, it seems the first servant who traded and received more than the rest should have been commended more than the rest, but that was not the case. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that Heaven cares more about your service, commitment, faithfulness, and integrity. There is no competition in the LORD, but consistency is key. The efforts and good fruit-bearing ethics of others are to challenge and inspire us also to be productive and abound in all good works. We have not been called to compete with one another. There is no need to undermine anyone in ministry and in service. You have especially been programmed to be fruitful with diligence and focus. Distraction makes you see others as better performers, which can cause you to unconsciously despise the talent and gifts of God embedded in you. This parable makes it obvious that the reward for the faithful Bishop will not necessarily be greater than that of the committed lay preacher. Concentrate on giving God your best, and you will be the toast of Heaven.

This continues the lesson from Jesus' parable, reminding us of our role as trustees in the kingdom business. The word talent, as used, is from the Greek: 'talanton'. It describes the ability to bear and a balance for supporting weights. It gravitates more towards an imperial financial system. The revelation in this verse also gives us deep insights and other relevant perspectives we need to walk with. The three classes of individuals mentioned received a certain amount of talent, according to the measure of ability one has been blessed with. The Greek word that describes ability is the same word used for a miracle, force and power. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that you have not been disadvantaged in life. You have been endowed with great abilities, power and force that can produce a miracle, enabling you to trade effectively to buy the future for a glorious destiny. The talent you carry is an essential commodity needed to transact transgenerational ventures. You have no excuse to fail. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you greater insights into your God-given talents and begin trading to build capacity for the next generation. You are far bigger than the miracle you need.

This chapter uses the metaphor of a restored marriage, speaking of comfort and promise. It is believed to have been written during or after the Babylonian exile, and it was meant to encourage the Jews to leave Babylon, return home, and trust God for the restoration of their lives and cities. It immediately follows the chapter of the prophecy of the Suffering Servant, Jesus, in Isaiah 53. It is therefore powerfully seen as the restoration and rebirth of the church after the sacrifice of Jesus. However, in the context of fruitfulness, the Holy Spirit wants you to also know that it is imperative for you to build capacity and commit to self-improvement as you believe God for the next level. Do not sit idle after prayer. Get moving and start working towards your anticipated answer. Build networks and establish connections. Add value and reduce the clutter of distractions in your life. Just as home improvement is key to quality living, self improvement and spiritual anticipation is key to your next level of glorious expansion.

This chapter of Romans begins with a passionate appeal by the apostle Paul. The presentation was for Israel to appreciate and embrace the salvation that comes through faith and righteousness from God. He noted their zeal and enthusiasm in keeping the law and believing in their own form of righteousness. It is of particular interest to note that this mission of Paul was not just a formality. It came from the place of a deep desire and intercession. The Holy Spirit is revealing through this case study how we ought to reach out with the good news of Salvation. We ought to be more concerned about the lost souls than their offerings. Some of our modern-day churches have become more like social clubs that fancy the wordly razzmatazz with a religious identity. We tend to be more concerned with sharing the links to earn views than sharing the Gospel to save souls. The passion and drive of some is to be the popular 'thriving' church. We seem to be accelerating but have lost direction. We are running but losing focus. Church leadership has gravitated towards appealing to build projects instead of building souls for Jesus. The LORD is reminding us to bring the saving knowledge of Jesus, birthed in the womb of intercession, to our household and beyond.
