Jesus presented a preamble to conclude this verse. In this scripture, Jesus reveals a very important supernatural phenomenon that is influenced by happenings on earth. Joy, as mentioned, describes the feeling of cheerfulness, gladness, wellness and calm delight. Thus repentance does not only end with salvation and eternal life. It is one of the most important sources of joy in the economy of heaven. A repented sinner is a kingdom asset and heaven's delight. That which brings joy is a cherished treasure and prized possession. Your repentance brings colour to heaven. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that you have more reason to be happy and fulfilled as a precious child of God, and as you encourage others to respond to the love of Jesus in their lives through repentance, service and worship to the LORD.

The final words of Moses to the Israelites in the wilderness recounted the amazing testimony of the faithfulness of God to His people. There is something spiritually significant and powerful about the number 40. It goes beyond a chronological timestamp to reveal a supernatural period of divine provision, preservation, protection and productivity. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that those who spend time in the presence of the LORD have a lifetime guarantee of the faithfulness of God. The conditions around the Israelites were not so pleasant. They faced mountainous ridges, desert storms, wilderness of hardship and marauding attackers. Despite all these, they emerged as witnesses of the Hand of God. Supernatural preservation is what causes one to flourish in unfavourable circumstances. You do not need to throw your hands in despair as challenges mount. The wilderness of pain, suffering and afflictions comes to prove the faithfulness of God in your life. Even bigger and greater are the blessings that follow you. Those who carry Jesus see the Hand of God in their lives. Because the glory of the LORD surrounds you like a shield, your destiny shall never be aborted.

Nehemiah 9 is described as the longest recorded prayer in the Bible. It embodies compelling testimonies, proven integrity and supernatural acts that confirm the Hand of the LORD in the lives of His Children. The Holy Spirit reveals through this verse some powerful dimensions of supernatural provision the LORD brings to us. These are not metaphorical statements nor phrases. The provision of manna, the bread from heaven, is indicative that God has not abandoned us on earth. Whatever good thing you desire that seems far away carries a divine prospect of coming to you. The supply of water from the rock proves that God is more than able to bring you great satisfaction out of any difficult situation. You are not defined by the challenges faced, but rather, by the operation of the power of God working in you. God does not make empty promises; as such, there is no empty Word of God. The Word of God is the symbol of His power and authority. The life of God is in His Word, which was made flesh in Jesus Christ, our Saviour. With your life in His hands, no promise of God shall be empty to you. You are in His season of supernatural provision.

The Old Testament word for fed is 'râ‛âh'. It describes the combined responsibilities of a shepherd, ruler and an associate. These pronounced blessings of Jacob were made at a ripe old age of 147 years. Undergirding these words is therefore a century of divine provisions, unfailing faithfulness and supernatural preservation in a man who had his fair share of the battles of life. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that the challenges that come your way are not hindrances and limitations to God's grace in your life. They are to make you appreciate the depth of his amazing love towards you and the indescribable measure of his goodness in your life. You are the embodiment of at least 4 generations of divine provision and the proven faithfulness of Yahweh. Trials do not define you. They qualify you to stand out as a testimony of God's supernatural provision.

Apostle Paul wrote the letter to the Philippians while in prison in Rome. Some theologians believe that he was under house arrest at the palace of Caesar, tied with stocks and bonds. Even in his incarceration, the Apostle still enjoyed great courtesies that could only be possible because of the grace of God upon His life. He had a special personal assistant, Timothy, who attended to him, including members of Caesar's household. The Philippian Church was also known to be a community of believers who gave out of their necessity. They were not a rich church, yet they never lacked. This message, therefore, went beyond a verse of encouragement. It is a testimony about God's faithfulness under unfavourable conditions. The holy Spirit wants you to know that God has not stopped providing for his children. The resources of Heaven are more than enough to meet your prayer requests. Look beyond your needs and appreciate the abundant grace and glory upon your life. It is in acknowledging the riches of Jesus that one gets satisfied.

This scripture is a classic case study of supernatural provision. It provides a certain framework and prerequisites for attaining dimensions of divine satisfaction.
The Holy Spirit wants you to know that God is in the business of satisfying his children with supernatural provision. However, to experience such a season is dependent on the following factors;
1. Acknowledging God: The LORD, as mentioned, is a reverential acknowledgement of God as Source and Sustainer of everything
2. Intercessory Responsibility: The believer's ability to stand in the gap makes him/her the approved channel for the supplies of heaven. The importance of the agency of men is crucial. Intercession opens the storehouse of heaven on behalf of a people.
3. Call to Obedience: Those who enjoy the abundance of heaven are those who are determined to walk in obedience and trust the LORD to the very end. It is a non-negotiable spiritual law. Eventually, through Moses' obedience, the Lord did, just as He had promised. However, the disobedience of some turned out to be a limiting factor, and what was to be a blessing became a burden. The level of obedience determines the dimension of open heavens you experience.

Paul received an angelic visit to the ancient city of Phillipi in Macedonia. It was a mission influenced by divine prompting, compelling conviction, and public attestation. The Romans in those days had a strong aversion to the Jews, who formed a micro-community there. This did not help the cause for Paul, who was then perceived as a religious Jew. The midnight hour sums up the threats, torture and trauma these apostles suffered. Such experiences are enough to kill a dream, shut down a ministry, bury hope and bring frustration. However, the love for Jesus ignited something more. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that loving Jesús brings an indescribable joy that nothing can quench. The songwriter has this to say: "...It soothes his sorrow, heals his wounds and drives away his fear..." It can only be motivation from the intense love for the lover of our soul that would give a song in the midnight hour. Whatever challenge you face now is an opportunity to let the enemy know that shackles, stocks and chains cannot bind your joy in Jesus. It is an opportunity to let others know that there is a friend in Jesus.
