VBCI exists to convert people to faith in Jesus Christ and pursue their full assimilation into active membership of the family of God. tial here on earth to the glory of God. VBCI consists of a network of churches which function as lively organisms where authentic and enduring relationships are formed and cultivated. We aim is to become that church described in the bible, where relevant teaching, in-depth worship, honest, dedicated friendships, ceaseless prayer and compassionate care for those in need is evident. You will find that at VBCI, you are really very important because you are that important to God. BRIEF HISTORY OF VBCI: Victory Bible Church International, congregated for the first time in Accra, Ghana (West Africa) on the 2nd of June, 1985 with an attendance of eighty-nine (89) people. VBCI was then known as Jesus People Outreach Church. This name was eventually replaced with Victory Christian Centre before its present name, which further depicts the scope of our God-given mission, with branches all over Ghana. The presbytery of VBCI, then headed by Bishop N. Tackie –Yarboi, committed into the hands of our faithful arrowhead, Bishop Clement Asihene, the vision for a VBCI-UK. This was followed by his repositioning to the UK. Sequel to some home cell meetings amongst other endeavours, VBCI-UK held her inaugural service on the 14th of April, 1991.By the grace of God, this gathering has evolved from an initial home cell membership base of forty-five (45) people to a substantial church with many branches all over the UK and some major cities in Europe today. From our humble beginnings, the Victory Bible Church International has come thus far by the grace and mercies of God. We have numerous branches in Ghana, United Kingdom, United States of America, Netherlands etc. It has now grown to over 50 branches outside the capital of Ghana, Accra, and in the capital alone, has over 10 community churches. Branches have also been established in various cities in London, Holland, New York, California, Virginia, New Jersey and Maryland in the USA, Jamaica and always increasing to the glory of God. Our Headquarters is housed in the permanent office complex located at Awoshie-Baah Yard (a suburb of Accra), off Abeka Lapaz - McCarthy Hill Road ( currently called the George Walker Bush Highway) in Accra, Ghana, West Africa.
