Pastor Freddy opened with a powerful call to shout for joy, urging us to remain joyful with reference to Psalm 100. He reminded us that although Jesus died on Friday, Sunday was coming—and with it, the fullness of our joy.
He went on to illustrate God’s faithfulness to the very end, using the account of Noah. Just as God remembered Noah, his family, and every living creature in the ark (Genesis 9:15), He is equally faithful to fulfill His promises—raising Jesus from the dead and bringing salvation to us.
Drawing from the story of Paul and Silas, he explained that we too were once trapped in the prison of sin. However, through God’s love, the death of Jesus brought our freedom. Just as the chains of Paul and Silas were broken in prison, God is able to break every chain of sin in our lives when we believe in Him (Acts 16:25).
