FAITHFULNESS
(Faithfulness refers to one’s dependence on the grace of God by remaining true to the
conditions of the covenant one has established with God.)

A. God is faithful ...
1. ... To those He calls (1 Thess 5:24).
2. . ...To forgive sin (1 John 1:9)
3. ... To provide a way of escape (1 Cor 10:13).
4. ... To protect us from evil (Ps 31:23; 2 Thess 3:3).
5. ... To keep His promises (1 Cor 1:9; Heb 10:23).
6. ... To establish the saints (2 Thess 3:3).

B. We must be faithful:
1. Faithfulness required (Lk 16:10-12; 1 Cor 4:2).
2. Faithful stewards (Matt 24:45-49; Ti 2:10).
3. Faithful servants (Matt 25:14-23; Ep 6:5-9).
4. Faithful over small things (Lk 19:17).
5. Faithful men must teach and preach (2 Tim 2:2).
6. Faithful unto death (Rev 2:10; 17:14).
7. Faithful wives (1 Tim 3:11).

C. Examples of faithfulness:
1. Jesus (Heb 3:2).
2. Abraham (Gal 3:9).
3. Timothy (1 Cor 4:17).
4. Tychicus (Eph 6:21; Col 4:7).
5. Epaphras (Col 1:7).
6. Onesimus (Col 4:9).
7. Moses (Num 12:7; Heb 3:5).
8. Antipas (Rev 2:13).

D. Christians must be faithful in ...
1. ... Caring for orphans and widows (James 1:27).

THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
TEXT : 1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-4

INTRODUCTION .
The foundation of the GOSPEL is the death , burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ .

1. The gospel is a " BETTER" covenant ( Hebrews 8:6-7)
- Matthew 5:17; Colossians 2:14
- John 1:17; Galatians 6:2
2. The gospel commands a second " BIRTH" ~ a MUST command to be born of water and the spirit ( John 3:3,5; Acts 2:38, Peter 1:3-4)

3. The gospel promises " CHRIST" will come again ( Hebrews 7:22-28)
- Matthew 24: 42, 44
- James 1:16-18

4. The gospel warns of the second "DEATH" ( Revelation 20:11-15)
- Revelation 21:8
- Revelation 20:6

5. The gospel proclaims " FORGIVENESS FOR CHRISTIANS"( 1John 1:19)
- Mark 3:1
- Acts 8:22-24

CONCLUSION
Paul instructs us to "redeem the time " ( Ephesians 5:16)
